My husband & I spent the weekend at this beautiful Manor House just outside of Bath. The owners Beth & Norman couldn't have been nicer. They welcomed us with a lovely pot of tea & mince pies, yum. Breakfast was superb, our room was lovely & hospitality fantastic. Will definately be returning. Oh, and as a bonus, there is a...

We've just stayed for 3 nights at the Manor House to celebrate my 50th birthday and we can't praise it enough. The house itself was steeped in history and has been maintained to keep it's character giving it a uniqueness that may not be appreciated by everyone, but we loved it. Norman and Beth were pefect hosts, welcoming us into...

What a shame to read bad reviews. Have just returned from a weekend with girlfriends at the Manor House. OK, it's not a 'posh hotel', but it doesn't purport to be that. It is a lovely quirky guesthouse, with character and great hosts. Have to say they may need to buy a woodburner, as the chiminea in the tudor fireplace...

Anniversary weekend away, a friend recommended the village and we found the Manor House: location was perfect for Bath - Christmas Market and home rugby made for a busy day - and the Manor House itself is beautiful, with some wonderful features, not least the fireplace in the sitting room. Beth and Norman couldn't have been more welcoming: great with...

Gorgeous setting, ideal location for quiet countryside walks and Bath only 5/10 minutes away. Norman and Beth are so friendly and made us feel really welcome. Best nights sleep had for a long time!

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend (Fri-Sun) at The Manor House and I can't begin to praise how much we enjoyed it. Not only is the situation of the Manor House in beautifully idyllic countryside but the owners Norman and Beth are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pub just up the road was the perfect way to spend...

We identified The Manor House as (hopefully) being the type of accommodation that we seek out whenever we travel at home or overseas; that is, a place with special character and uniqueness, small and intimate and providing a high level of friendly and high high quality service. We are delighted that The Manor House achieved all of these outcomes for...

We just came back from a lovely weekend at 'The Manor House'. The owners were very friendly. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was really nice and served with a smile. We went to the pub up the road for dinner on two nights as there is no where else in walking distance. The food was really nice there although a...
