No nonsense hotel with comfortable rooms located just outside Dingwall. Great breakfast with friendly staff. The price was reasonable and the staff were unobtrusive. Dingwall is a pleasant town in the Black Isle north of Inverness.

This was our start to the North Coast Route. Good location to start from. Food was good in the hotel and the prices very fair. My only real criticism is that the bed had seen better days and was incredibly hard and made for a poor nights sleep. Overall though an okay place to stay.

Have had dinner bed and breakfast three times. Very comfortable friendly hotel. Food is excellent and excellent value. Sometimes have to look for staff but that is just part of the charm. Why pay for people who are just hanging around? Always someone around if needed. It is the kind of place that makes it easy to talk to fellow...

We stayed here for 3 nights and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel and grounds are. The views from the room window was gorgeous. We came with our two dogs who were both made welcome too. Had a wee mixup at the beginning with rooms. Were in a double when wanted a twin but this was very...

Lovely, cosy hotel, with a very good restaurant! We stayed here as our first night stay prior to starting the NC500. We arrived early evening and were welcomed by friendly staff. We stayed with our dog, and had a lovely room. There was a room above us, and like with any hotel there were times when you heard people walking...

Quite simply staying in this hotel is a complete joy. Jamie and the rest of the staff are wonderful and the facilities are excellent. The food in the Chanterelle restaurant is fantastic, If you are staying a couple of nights, ask Lori or Lindsey to make their Shepherd's Pie, the best you'll ever taste.

Lovely, homely hotel with a great breakfast Minor panic when I walked in for breakfast to discover cereal & juice but nothing hot, however the waitress came over & took my order and a full Scottish cooked breakfast arrived freshly prepared. Bed was incredibly comfortable and all the staff very welcoming. Would recommend in a heartbeat and look forward to...

My husband and I came here as we were staying at the lodge next door. The lady at reception showed us to a small room where we enjoyed a drink and looked at the menus. The dining room was beautiful with stunning views and the waitresses were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the mushroom and haggis for starter, pork...

Came to stay for one night and extended as we liked it so much. Food at restaurant was outstanding. Great outlook from the room and the rural setting make for a very restful sleep after staying in cities.

Attended a birthday meal at the Kinkell House Hotel. The welcome was warm and the place itself is very nicely set up for a small family celebration of about 40-50 folk. I have Coeliac disease so require gluten free food. The menu had the necessary GF markings on each available dish and when I got to eating the foo found...
