We had two groups go out kayaking with Keiysha and Bob. They were fantastic tour guides and really showed us a fun time. Both groups came back happy as clams! I highly recommend using their tour services. We hope to visit again and stay at their guest house! It looks magnificent, and affter having met these two, there is no...

We found Barefoot Traveler through the great reviews on TripAdvisor. The reviews were perfectly accurate - we had a wonderful stay. We were looking for a quiet place to relax and rejuvenate, relatively near San Juan (to avoid driving too much) and on the (South) East Coast which we heard was less resort - more real Puerto Rico. We enjoy...

This was my first visit to Puerto Rico and I was extremely pleased with Barefoot Travelers guest house. I arrived late and Bob was more than willing to wait up to greet us. Not only did he greet us, but he made sure that all our questions were answered. My wife and I discovered the wonderful beach just down the...

Escape the resorts and hook up with the good folks at Barefoot Travelers. This guest house rivals all that I have stayed at throughout the Caribbean. You can't beat the price, the location (if you're on the southern part of the island), the welcoming and highly knowledgeable hosts, and the beach just a very short walk from the house. In...

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere Keishya and Bob have accomplished at Barefoot Travelers... if you want to explore eastern Puerto Rico...go here. I still feel the warm waters of the lovely Carribean off the beach there...

I’m reminiscing about our visit to Barefoot last spring, which was nothing short of amazing! Bob and Keishya are gracious hosts and their guesthouse is the perfect place to spend a few days in paradise, off the beaten path. The location is excellent if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of San Juan (where we also...

For our first visit to Puerto Rico I am happy to say that we somehow stumbled on probably the most ideal location, the Barefoot Travelers Rooms Guesthouse. I rarely ever give any service oriented establishment the highest rating across the board, but the folks at BT really earned it. The location is ideal for quick adventures and they do a...

Host stayed up late to accommodate my late night arrival, ungrudgingly. Bob and Keiysha made me feel welcome at their home and went out of the way to make sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Keiysha gave me great tips for getting around and Bob took me on an infamous kayak trip to see the monkeys....

We loved this little guesthouse tucked away in Punta Santiago on the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I truly felt like a guest in their home. I would strongly recommend the kayak trip to Monkey Island - it was an amazing experience.

If you want to go on vacation from the rat race and actually enjoy the tropical paradise that is the REAL Puerto Rico instead of trading the stresses of home for the crowds in . . . San Juan, this is the place to do it. Bob and Keishya made us feel very much at home and treated us like...

“Master Maroon has private en-suite bath. The other two rooms (full and queen) share a bath outside their door.”

“The master suite was ideal to have our private bathroom attached.”

“The guesthouse is the entire first floor of their home. One master bedroom with a private bath and two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All the rooms are comfy, just depends how much privacy you want. It really feels just like you're staying over a friend's place. Warning! Beds are VERY firm. However, I typically sleep on a soft mattress but slept really well regardless.”
