Detailed Reviews
If you read other reviews I guess it's pretty clear by now that the food and overall service are pretty poor in this place.
The "all inclusive" selling point is a big charade. Cheap drinks and limited bar service guarantees you're not gonna drive up their costs. Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner, food is practically non-existant.
As for the room, we didn't have hot water for 3 days. Even though we had a little baby with us and complained several times, we were only relocated after 3 days...
Finally, not having internet service im most areas is a big joke... It's the 21st century guys, c'mon...
I bet they'll reply to this review thanking me for the feedback and assuring they'll take it into consideration for the future. Reality is they won't do anything. The beach is beautiful and demand is high so they couldn't care less.
For the amount of money you'll pay, I bet you can find something better.

The only advantage of the hotel is the location that has one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. The food is far from good - without taste, reused and the desserts made on gelatin base. There's no taste of anything. Every day the same flavors of juice, coconut water only in cup, there is no coconut water directly from coconut and no coconut grated for tapioca. Few staff at the bars, just one waitress per bar. The cleaning of the main restaurant is to be desired.

We were invited to carry out an evaluation and I think it's fair to promote improvements to be honest. The trip is very worth it because we are with family and friends, but the Resort has a lot of room for improvement. First, the variety of food, when you spend 6 days in a place and don't have variety, you get bored and on the third day you can't eat anymore. Furthermore, the different restaurants that offer a special dinner offered creamy rice as risotto, an unnecessary failure.
I know it's not sold as a premium Resort but small details could make all the difference, drinks don't have any premium bottles, just simpler drinks...
There is no variety of juices for example…
Bathrooms need attention both in common areas and in the bedrooms, despite being in a new area with very comfortable rooms the flush doesn't work and even after calling the housekeeping staff three times nothing was done.
The Resort is beautiful, it needs someone to look with care at these details that make the experience unique!!!

The Resort is very spacious, with good and comfortable rooms (if you have difficulty getting around, you should ask to stay close to the central area of bars and restaurants). Lots of green area and several swimming pools. The beach is excellent and provides walking access to the natural pools characteristic of Maragogi. There are, throughout its length, beach chairs and umbrellas. However, there is no bar service on the beach (you have to pick it up inside the resort). There is security on the beach. The main restaurant is spacious and comfortable (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and there are two more themed restaurants that only open at night. In general, the food is very good, with a variety for all tastes and needs. In the restaurant there are stations for pizza (dinner), ice cream (lunch and dinner), as well as grilled food, at breakfast time there are stations for waffles and tapioca, omelettes, etc. There are bars and kiosks spread out near the pool, but there is no free access to drinks and snacks, you have to order from these places (which is very annoying and sometimes inconvenient). There is almost always a barbecue kiosk that is excellent. There is a burger restaurant, an ice cream parlor and a Mexican food restaurant. In the main restaurant, there is free beer and wine, but if you want a soft drink (which comes from a machine), you have to ask the waiter, as well as orange juice in the morning. In the annex to the main restaurant they serve an afternoon coffee, which is very pleasant, but more repetitive. There is a recreation team (a Kids club), but the team doesn't entertain anything.
We spent 7 days including New Year's Eve and everything was very good. The decoration, the supper, the show, the New Year's Eve with sparkling wine and fireworks on the beach. It was beautiful!

The room is comfortable and clean, regarding the attention of the employees, almost no one speaks Spanish but they are friendly and helpful (the person who prepares tapiocas and omelet on the main breakfast island deserves recognition for his good vibes and attention .
Regarding the pools, there is always space and they are large.
As for the lounge chairs, you have to reserve early because otherwise they are full on the beach, although you can find the same in the second line of lounge chairs before the bridges.
Regarding the food, it is delicious but lacks variety, and in the buffet restaurant and the garden it is very hot 🥵.
The beach when there is low tide is Caribbean and when there is high tide it is Carilo 🤪, with catfish that are from the river that surround you and greet you, no colored fish.
Nice experience to get to know this part of Brazil and to compare with the Caribbean

We stayed from the 5th to the 10th of May, room 506... the hotel left a lot to be desired for almost two days, we had a cold shower, I called reception 6 times, they said the heating element had burned out but the water wouldn't heat up.
absolutely nothing is served on the beach, you have to go inside to the pool bar which opens to serve drinks after 10 just to get water or whatever you need,
When the pool bar opens, there are 2 employees there to make caipirinha drinks and get chops and beer for everyone, so be prepared to stand in line and wait.
Beer is a good brand, but most of the time it's hot because there are only two freezers and you can't keep it cold and if you like drinking beer, get ready to walk because they don't serve it on the beach and the waiter only releases open beer from cans, I think they're afraid of guests take it from the bar and sell it on the beach only
The pool bar facing the pool only worked one day after it rained, they said water got inside and no one made an effort to get it out. I left and it still wasn't working... If you are in the pool, you have to leave the pool to help yourself.
Chop you can only serve yourself inside the restaurant
Sparkling wine is only served in the restaurant in areas of the hotel that are not available.
Positive point, the beach in front is wonderful with the alternation of tides, you have a beach with waves and another natural pool…

Super recommended resort for family travel. The beach is very safe, there is a coral reef near the coast so there are no waves, leaving a very quiet beach with crystal clear waters. There is entertainment all day for the children, in the afternoon they bring out a cart of popcorn and cotton candy, they think a lot about them...Food from the moment you get up until you go to bed, at the buffet, in the bars, at the Mexican, a hamburger restaurant...what more could you ask for??? We will return for sure!!!!

Cordiality went a long way from the moment I arrived.
Bad check in, as the wi-fi is terrible, and no one was willing to help. It took more than an hour and we didn't have lunch. To make matters worse, I had already requested months before to stay on the ground floor and close to the baby pantry, which didn't happen when we arrived, we asked to change and be placed at least on the ground floor and stay next to the work and in the last block.
I complained to the travel agency and we changed rooms again, however it rained for a whole day and the resort's power went out completely with power surges which caused the baby food that was in the minibar freezer to spoil. That day they improvised a barbecue for the guests that would start at 12pm and in fact it was 1pm and they hadn't even served anything, until I went to ask for at least a tip of the meat to eat since the baby had nothing to eat.
Uncleaned pool, lots of sand, spilled drinks and vomit. In addition to having 1 completely covered swimming pool and a kids pool that is green because it is so dirty. When the complaint went directly to the director, he responded that he couldn't do anything because the guests were the ones dirtying the pool.
The cleaning of the rooms was terrible, my baby ended up leaking her diaper at night and I spent the rest of my stay with dirty sheets, with a huge stain.
Poor quality of food and drink, disorganization at stations and always something missing (cutlery, glasses, cups, juices, etc.). Noticeable discouraged employees, no schedule.
Although everything at the resort is terrible, the night shows are wonderful, with a cool children's theater, but the children's entertainment is poor and children don't even want to participate in the activities.

A very good all-inclusive resort. The best beach in Maragogi, clean, clear water and no waves right in front of the resort, so much so that tours to the natural pools leave from Grand Oca beach.
We stayed in the bungalows, and it was wonderful, close to the beach, close to restaurants, there are options to eat all day long, Mexican, sandwiches, pizza, fries and many other things, apart from the restaurant that has lunch and dinner. Free drinks too, I only recommend bringing a bottle of water, which is a gallon, but in the room there is always a 1.5 liter bottle of water and soda in the fridge.
At the bar you will find all types of alcoholic drinks.
Everything is very clean and the green area is very well looked after. Only praise for the Grand Oca Maragogi.
Staff were all very polite and friendly.
Oh! And there is a spa for massage and hairdresser, I loved it too.

Great leisure structure on a beautiful beach! The pool is extensive and I did not see any crowd of people at any time! There are plenty of chairs, tables and umbrellas. Toys for kids in various locations, all quite new. The room has a great size for a family of 4 people and the beds and pillows look new. I found the offer of drinks great: several brands of beer, chopp ice cream and besides the menu of drinks the waiters are quite attentive to make drinks on request of the guests. There is also water in several locations as well as soda. Breakfast is great, but lunch and dinner leave much to be desired. What saves is the hamburger which, although not surprising, is a better alternative. Although the meals are not the hotel’s strengths, we had a great family time. The kids loved the structure, the show and the kids club.
