Besides wonderful location and views, their staffs are also very outstanding when you are in need of help. Of course, it might be better for you not encounter this situation. We lost luggage on the first day due to transfer flights. Because we didn't want to miss the itinerary, we went to Tekapo directly, with worry of lost luggage. In...

Just a one night stop which was a shame. Our apartment had a separate bedroom and the lounge area then had a separate bed for our daughter. Everything was clean and comfortable with all amenities. A good choice at a reasonable price. The view from our balcony over the lake and down to the little church was fantastic. There is...

Lake front, great managers, not only friendly but giving heaps of tips of places to see. Rooms were great and bed very comfy and the showers were one on the best. Great views from the rooms so tranquil looking out at the lake. 10/10

We stayed for one night on our way from Akaroa to Queenstown. We were in 'The Penthouse'. This is a superb apartment, light and airy, very well equipped kitchen, seperate lounge, two TVs, wifi, two bedrooms (will sleep at least six). We had a slight problem with our hot water while we were there and the relief managers were so...

We arrived early on a rainy day. The front desk is very friendly. Our room was ready which was a plus. Had upstairs unit with view of lake (once rain stopped). Balcony but too wet to enjoy. Very clean. Car park but no elevator. Worth carrying your luggage upstairs for the view. Walked to everything except the hot springs, need...

Booked into this motel and was not disappointed, so much so we tried to stay another night but it was booked out. The couple who run it are very friendly and would recommend this clean well managed motel.

Our family of 4 spent a night last week on the way to Christchurch from Queenstown. Really fantastic motel next to the lake. Great facilities. Reasonable rates. Comfortable beds. We loved it. Lake Tekapo is Heaven on Earth and this motel is the place to spend a night or two. FYI we found the reference to "cooking curries" a bit...

It's spacious clean and well equipped. It's quiet even though on the road. Great balcony for viewing stars. Cooking area spacious and well equipped. Too many motels this one included have notices about cooking curries or seafood referring to these food as having bad smells. We are not keen on having some people's food choices described in this way. Rather...

We drove from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo. Lovely scenery and lots of places to stop and explore during the day. We had an upstairs room in the Motel. It was adequately stocked with crockery and cutlery but only a microwave to cook in, and no washing up area (a basin was provided for this), so you would probably need to...
