We recently stayed at this hotel for the first time. We were most impressed with the hotel, it had recently been refurbished and the bedrooms were gorgeous. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious with lots of choice and it's nice to have the informal dining of the cellar bar if...

Both the breakfast and evening meal were very good, will definitely return for those! Almost all of the staff were absolutely superb, very friendly and helpful. Not the greatest hotel for wheelchair access to the restaurant, but the staff did what they could to help. Comfortable clean bedroom and bathroom. Not really anything I can fault with the visit. Unfortunately...

Our room "east" was on the second floor, which was large and airy with beautiful views, well decorated and a lovely large bathroom. We ate in the Devon view restaurant in the evening, fine dining at a fair...

Staff were lovely, had a warm welcome and the receptionist arranged for our cream teas to be served in one of the rooms off reception & even lit the fire there just for us. (Cream tea was excellent). We had a room in The Courtyard which was a separate building to the main part where restaurants and bar were located,...

As the hotel was quiet we were upgraded free of charge to the Neil room which was on the first floor of the main Manor House with amazing views out of the...
