Great Value: Friendly Staff: Good place to relax as the resort is spread out and even though is was almost fully booked when we where there it did not seem like there where a lot of people around. The only complaint is that English is the third language spoken after Spanish and French and service in English is limited but...

Hello to all, I'll give you the lowdown on this beautiful resort. First, check-in was done in a snap...you get in line and boom 10 minutes later you get everything you need (Room and towel cards) and then you go to your room and your bagages are there waiting for you. Next, here are the two strikes for me and...

Reading the other reviews I would say that a day pass is probably the way to go. I went to the Montelimar resort with my wife and her family (who we were staying with in Managua). For a Canadian, I must say that the trip there alone was an incredible experience. Through the Rainforest and small villages along the way....

After reading some of the other reviews, I had to express my feelings about the 3 day stay I experienced.Let me start by saying... awsome. I had a wonderful time.Of course the hotel is somewhat outdated, this is nicaragua we are talking about.I stayed in a bungelow and at the main hotel building, and my experience was awsome.I live in...

My family and I were there for a family vacation (three adults and 2 kids 8 and 6 years old). The receptionist gave us one room for 5 people with only 2 full size beds. When we complained, the receptionist told us that if we wanted an additional bed we had to pay 15 dollars for an extra small bed....

You are correct that check-in is a night mare. We waited almost an hour in line to get to the desk and then they couldn't find our reservation.(it was sunday and many locals come for day passes) They told us to go have lunch and would work it out. 3 hours later we were rewarded for our patience with 2...

My family of 4 spent 3 nights here from Aug 13 - 16th. My kids are ages 4 and 10. We booked directly.... and supposedly got a deal. Well, you don't get what you pay for here... and it is probably the worst deal for an all-inclusive that I could imagine. Good Points - great beach an stunning pool. Really,...

The Barcelo was a wonderful retreat. We only spent a day, and night, but made the most of our time. It was such a beautiful resort with a huge swimming pool, wet bar, volley ball, and many fun activities. The little restaurant located in the middle of the pool provided, refreshing fruit drinks with a fruit bar. We enjoyed breakfast,...

This one goes down as one of the worst lodging deal we've ever had. don't pay more than $25/night for this place. See notes below: 1. wouldn’t neg. the price down when we called ahead and were rude on the phone. 2. didn’t let my wife and I both go to look at the bungelow so I went alone and...

I will try not to repeat what has already been said in earlier reviews. I was there with my husband and daughter June 17-20, 2008. We started out in cabana 120 but requested to move to a cabana with 2 adjoining rooms so my daughter could have her own room. We moved to the 300 section but were placed in...
