Schotia Safaris was one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. We had a fantastic guide, Etienne who went out of his way to ensure we got to see all of the animals (lions, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, zebra, wilderbeast and all manner of antelope) in amzing settings. We did the 2 night stay which included the trip to...

It as our last day on a three-week South Africa tour - and a highlight. Four game drives in a program starting a 3 pm and lasting till next morning ten o'clock plus coffee break, dinner and breakfast. Very comfortable hut in the middle of the game park. My wife had a bit trouble sleeping because the lions were roaring...

We selected Schotia as we were in Port Elizabeth for the World Cup and wanted to go on a safari with our two young kids. Most places don't allow young kids to go on the game drives, thanks to TripAdvisor we learned of Schotia. We spent two nights in the Springbuck Lodge which was so wonderful. Our entire family was...

I spent two nights in the Springbuck Lodge with my two adult children. What an experience waking to the sounds of roaring lions! George was a fantastic ranger--very friendly and extremely knowledgeable--and all of the people at Schotia were nice. We saw so many animals on our drives through Schotia and Addo and had a wonderful time. This was our...

We stayed at Schotia for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Edward our guide was awesome. He found all of the Big 5 and then more. When you book your reservation, you got to ask for him. The whole crew at Schotia Safaries was great. The evening experience around the fire, meeting people from all over the world was...

Having read previous reviews we were not disappointed. Everything from start to finish was amazing. We had 3 days here, staying in Warthog Lodge, which in itself is an experience ,when you wake at five in the morning to the sound of lions roaring. We had two guides over the three days, Nieckie for the first two days and George...

We visited, Schotia, Addo, Amakhala, and had the unfortunate experience of visiting Inverdoon (please don't go there!) - and Schotia rates as our best safari! We did the Tooth & Claw day safari and were overwhelmed by the amount of game present on the day. The meal at the end of the day was also a fantastic experience, very tasty...

We had 2.5 days full of expirence. Good time from morning until night. Our guide George did a terrific job. He was passionate, had a lot of knowledge about the area and the animals and was great to be around.
