This is a great hotel right in the middle of Seclin where we went for a wine fair - the location was great, just a five minute walk to the wine fair's location and in the centre of town. The food in the Bistro was fabulous and the breakfast good too, and nice friendly staff. What more could you want?

I visited this hotel for business and my expectations were for a simple hotel, being located in a small town, as Seclin. But I found the pleasant surprise of a warm hotel, with a very nice and comfortable room. I liked it because it has an exquisite decoration and important details in the room. If I go back someday to...

We have stayed here several times since 2005 but feel that of late it has been going downhill and this will be our last stay. The rooms are very well-equipped but the 'feel' has gone, service is not welcoming, there is little car parking space and the locals don't even seem to come in for the Bistro. We had problems...

Thank you for your two advices for the Bistro and the hotel. Thank you also to notice that the rooms are very well equiped. You have come several times over 11 years . But this time, it has actually completly changed in the hotel. We have even changed the name of the hotel for "hotel bulles by forgeron". We have...

We stayed here in spite of reviews on Tripadvisor (VERY bad mistake!) because it was close to where we were visiting a War Cemetery and we liked the idea of staying in an auberge rather than a bigger, perhaps anonymous, chain hotel. Never again! My son and I REALLY didn't like our food, though my husband said his was ok....

My husband and I stayed here as a stop over before travelling further south. Hotel on a main road which was quiet with nothing open even on a Saturday evening. We had booked a room with a hot tub but was shown to a larger bedroom with small, old bathroom. Were then showed to correct room which was smaller but...

Their appears to be a big difference in the standard of the rooms. Mine was a cramped cold room in the attic whilst my colleagues was a two roomed suite. The receptionist seemed vey confused with our bookings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was mediocre but the service good. We learned afterwards that they had a...

Recently stayed in room 220 in an attic bedroom. The furniture in the bedroom was very shabby, broken drawer handle, very small wardrobe with 4 hangers and the wood had damage on it and there was evidence of poor standards of cleanliness in the bedroom (dust on the carpet and the wall). The room was very small. Bathroom was small...

My husband and I had a Bongo ‘Romantic weekend” and decided to go to Hotel Le Forgeron because the critics were very good on the food. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent; we had a menu with 7 courses. Everything from ‘Les amuses bouches” to the dessert were great. We took the selection of wines (30 EUR/pers.) which...
