This is a wonderful B&B close to the motorway for an overnight stop-over. Also great location for exploring the Mosel area. The room was very spacious and clean. The owner is charming. Breakfast is excellent. We try to stay here three times a year while driving through Germany, but it is sometimes fully booked - always busy. Highly recommended

My husband and I were traveling last summer and found this wonderful place. It's beautiful, very clean, the owner is very hospitable and friendly. Great breakfast, buffet style. Outstanding view out of the window. Absolutely recommend!

This b&b was so lovely. The room was absolutely beautiful and very modern and clean. Probably the best b&b I've stayed in regarding the room. Breakfast was good -standard type you find in Germany. Highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

Not that we would actually eat off the floor - but we were totally impressed with the cleanliness here. The welcome was very warm too, and efficient. The guesthouse is on a quiet backstreet with some parking adjacent to the road. Can't remember our room number - we were at the back of the house but I'm sure all rooms...

We were very impressed by this little B&B. The room is wonderful and has everything you might want, definitely fantastic when staying in the area for a few days or more. The owner is a lovely lady who is very friendly and helpful. We were able to get along well with English and our limited German. Breakfast was included and...

We've arranged our booking months in advance with Frau Halter. When we finally arrived after months of anticipation were very warmly greeted by Frau Halter. She showed us our room as well as gave us a quick introduction of Kobern Gondorf. Immaculate rooms and breakfast was very tasty, freshly prepared and with lots of choice. We will most defiantly come...

You would not suspect from the website or from seeing the front of the place, but the rooms here are amazing. Very modern and comfortable, everything you could want. Beatrix was a great host, her English was not perfect, but easily good enough to get by. Good breakfast also. You will not find better value along the entire Moselle river.

We had two nights here at the end of our cycle ride from Trier to Koblenz. A beautiful place to stay as the rooms are absolutely brilliant. I just loved the style in which Beatrix has decorated her home and garden. We slept well, the breakfasts were excellent, and Beatrix was very helpful with maps etc. Would definatley stay again.

The title says most of it, but to elaborate - we found this a very pleasant overnight stopover en-route to Calais on our return to England from Austria. Set in a residential street high above the village of Kobern-Gondorf, Landhaus Julia is a bit of a misnomer, as it is in fact a spacious semi-detached modern house. The decor is...

“This was the cleanest and one of the loveliest places we have stayed.”

“If you can, ask for a room with a view over the valley. The only small criticism is - no air conditioning available, but if you keep the shutter blinds (remote control operation) closed during the hot summer days you'll have a perfect temperature for a great night's sleep. This is a quiet location, so no problems with noise at all.”

“We had rooms 1 and 2, both of which were very nice. Both are on the first floor, Room 1 was furnished with two club chairs and a small table, Room 2 had a sofa and club chair. Both had lovely views.”
