Ikos Olivia garners high praise for its spacious and immaculate rooms, although a few guests have mentioned some decor feels dated. The hotel's value is celebrated despite the premium pricing, with many travelers highlighting the exceptional service and standards. The sparkling cleanliness extends from the rooms to the grounds, and the staff's attentiveness enhances the vibrant atmosphere, amplified by lively entertainment. With its prime beachfront location and a plethora of amenities, including diverse dining options and family-friendly activities, guests consistently laud their memorable stays.

Spent a week here at the end of June with my sister. Excellent check in service. Room was gorgeous & we were upgraded to sea view room after a couple of days which was lovely. Amazing shampoo, conditioner, shower gel & body lotion supplied. Night time turn down service was a nice touch too.

Easy to find a sun bed any time of the day. The beach buddy’s were insistent on bringing the towels to your bed, but this sometimes took them 10 minutes, which wasn’t great and we would have been happy enough to take the towels ourselves.
After about 6pm the beach buddy’s also wanted to realign the beds in a pattern ready for the next day & we were asked to move!! Which we weren’t happy about understandably as we wanted to enjoy the last hour of sunshine rather than sit in a formation. Would rather that the beach buddy’s focused on the emptier areas of the beach and leave those who were still there to sit/lie as they were.
Beach service & restaurant service for drinks was poor. On occasion we were waiting over 15 minutes for some drinks, and in one case our meal arrived before!! Just very slow, so would suggest for the team to work on improving this.
Food was always incredible, with excellent choice. They were happy to make whatever you wanted and it was lovely. Wine was gorgeous, as were the cocktails.
The choice to dine out was great, soooo much food. I would advise people to book 3 of their restaurants for the first 3 days in advance of arrival as they get fully booked. Just email the hotel and they’ll sort it.
Gym facilities were good too, and they also have fitness classes, which we didn’t try but they looked good.
Staff were very polite generally.
We didn’t try the spa or indoor facilities but they looked good.
All the toilets cleaned regularly which was great - always being cleaned and freshened up.
It was a bit dead in the evenings, there’s a bit of music and some entertainment but think it was child orientated.
There is a white party once a week - bring white clothes!
Overall lovely relaxing holiday. Would maybe rate 4.5* just because of the the slow service and having to wait a lot throughout the holiday. Not sure we would go again simply because we’d like to visit other places in the world, but would recommend it for a relaxing chilled holiday & amazing food.

The resort is clean, modern, safe and luxurious. Fortunately, I went at the end of October, so prices were much more reasonable. The resort is great value for families with kids.

A concern pointed out by other reviewers said that kids were noisy and distracting in restaurants for a child-free couple, but I didn't feel this was an issue at all. We sat apart from the family areas and kids were barely noticeable.

I was delighted with my spacious ground floor bungalow room with private garden and sunloungers. I personally think it's nicer than higher rooms which have a balcony with sea view, but they have no large outside space. It is definitely worth the slight increase in price to book this room than other smaller double rooms in the main building. I honestly did not feel like I was missing out from the Deluxe area, so I don't think it's worth the extra price to pay for those rooms.

Free minibar replenished daily was excellent with branded spirits, plenty of mixers and water. I wish they had some snacks in the minibar though. Free room service had a slightly limited menu, but the burger was great and service was fast. Bars stocked premium international drinks and made every cocktail, so it's great value for people who drink all day long! They might have been short-staffed at the beach and pool, so I had to go up to the bar to order drinks.

Despite the hotel being fully booked, the restaurants weren't packed and there were plenty of sunloungers in the pool and beach areas. The a la carte high dining dishes were excellent, as was the wine menu and service. You can book three restaurants in advance and I recommend booking more as soon as you check in, as availability will be limited.

Free Mini car is great and I recommend driving around the nearby small villages as the roads are easy and quiet. Don't make our mistake of driving over an hour to Thessaloniki, where the city traffic is worse than London and very stressful! The city wasn't even worth the journey and I would much rather have stayed in the resort. There are also free half day excursions to nearby villages if you'd rather not drive.

All the staff were lovely and I never felt that they expected tips. Customer service is excellent and they were are helpful about making anything right if there are any small issues. They looked after me so well for my birthday and there was great communication from the team.

Overall, it was a wonderful holiday and I hope to stay with the Ikos brand for future all-inclusive holidays.

Recently traveled to Greece, Chalkidiki for a few days of summer vacation.
Hotel was very close to the beach and seemed recently built as everything inside seemed brand new.
The rooms were extraordinary, coupled with elegant decorations and an excellent view of the sea, which was also very close (I've stayed close to the long pools), and had a nice open view of the sea from my room. Facilities were very luxurious and had all the perquisites of a top ranking hotel.
Despite the difficulties of safety measures worldwide, everything was squeaky clean and personnel seemed to take matters seriously keeping distances and wearing safety equipment (face protection and gloves were worn the entire time by the staff).
Protection standards were also kept with great care at the restaurants, of which I was specially drawn to the Italian (being a fan of the cuisine). Shoutout to George (the manager of this restaurant) as well as the waiters for keeping everything neat, tidy and clean.
Leisure activites were also present with watersports adding a bit of adrenaline to the otherwise serene swims at the beautiful beach in front of the hotel.
The best experience I could have hoped!
Will definitely recommend Ikos Olivia.
Hope I visit Greece again soon.

As many people nowadays my fiancé and I were not sure about travelling this year. However, we are so happy we went to Ikos Olivia this summer! We came on the first day the hotel opened. Even though it was the first day everything was already perfectly organized and prepared for the tourists. Ikos Olivia took all the necessary measures for the safety of their guests. However, these measures were not obtrusive, so we spent this vacation like a normal one. The only thing which reminded us about the pandemic was the staff wearing the facemasks. The staff in this hotel is actually the biggest reason why everyone would enjoy staying in this hotel. They were all very helpful, kind and you could always see their smiles through the transparent masks. As we were one of the first ones in the hotel, we directly got the upgrade of our room which was a very nice present! The territory of the hotel is very beautiful, it’s like going for a walk through a park. The beach is big and clean. What was very convenient is that the towels were laying directly on the sunbeds both on the beach and next to the swimming pool. The swimming pools are also large, and the water is warm. We also really liked the sport activities. Since there were not so many guests, some of the trainings were individual for us. What we enjoyed the most on our vacation is food which is marvelous in this hotel. Every restaurant has big variety of dishes and very attentive personnel who help you with your choice of meal and drink. We especially enjoyed the Greek and French restaurants! This year reservations for breakfasts and dinner were required and in order to simplify this process we could anytime write in the WhatsApp group and within 5-10 min we always received a booking confirmation. We could actually write any requests in this group; they were all immediately proceeded. We are especially thankful to the duty manager Katerina and the front desk manager Liza. Everyday they were making sure that our stay at Ikos Olivia will be unforgettable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Moreover, if you still want to have nice vacations this summer this hotel could be a really good choice!

From the moment we set foot in the hotel until we departed, we were looked after warmly and comprehensively. The infectiously enthusiastic Margaret welcomed us to the hotel, accompanied us whilst we had our routine Covid tests and waited for the results, about 15mins, and then continued to touch base with us throughout our stay, including advising us on the best places to visit with our free day car hire (Port Koufo, Sarti and a swim at Kalemitsi a must!). She was keen for our views as we stayed in many 5* competitors hotels in Turkey and elsewhere so here goes.

All the Covid precautions were excellent which meant it never felt awkward, all the top class restaurant standard food served a la carte rather than buffet and enough variety to keep you excited all week, I couldn't rate the food highly enough. Great cocktails, wine list and nice live music at night.

Facilities and decor very nice and comfortable, although the rooms are maybe ever so slightly dated relatively to 5* competitors and the shower a little underpowered.

Best thing is the staff, professional yet friendly. Special thanks to the ever-smiley Despina and Christina at the beach who keep you refreshed with food and drink all day and become like friends by the end of the stay.

I think the only area for improvement is the sea itself. As there is no pier for direct entry, the hotel should make an effort to clear the sea entrance of the large stones and rocks which make it very slippery, many guests just don't bother and stick to the pool because it is awkward to enter, but as a sea lover I persevered! I think this is a must and something equivalent hotels in Turkey do. And if I'm being really picky, an adults only pool with a bar inside it would be great, I think this would be missed at peak time when there are lots of kids, and it's always nice to have a cocktail inside the pool!

But neither of those things enough for me to award this hotel anything but 5/5 and we look forward to returning to Ikos again next year!!

This was our third visit to the Olivia and yet again it surpassed our expectations.
From the moment we landed we were made to feel incredibly welcome and all the safety measures put in place made us feel totally confident that we were in a very safe and Covid free environment.
As always the staff were incredible, always super efficient and courteous despite having to wear face masks in 35 degree heat.
The lack of buffet service did not affect our dining in the least. We could order everything we wanted and the staff were extremely accommodating when changes and extra dishes were requested. We have always enjoyed the restaurants at Olivia as they are all exceptional and yet again they did not disappoint. Special mention to George P, food and beverage manager, who was superb. His attention to detail across the restaurants and bars is second to none, he leads by example and encourages his staff to learn from him. He made our dining experiences a very special one.
Our room was sea facing on the fourth floor with a fabulous view of the sun rise. The housekeeping team did an amazing job and kept the entire hotel looking immaculate. Our room was deep cleaned every day and fresh linens provided. The continuous cleaning of the communal areas ensured that no area was overlooked and everywhere is constantly clean and fresh.
Guest relations also deserve a special mention as they continually strive to perfect your holiday. Margaret is an amazing ball of energy who remembers everyone’s name, what they are doing and what they have done. She is incredible!
All in all it was a brilliant trip and this will not be our last visit. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as it is just perfect, thank you Ikos Olivia.

This is our 5th visit and it did not disappoint in the slightest. The staff go above and beyond From the cleaning staff to waitresses to pool service to concierge... The food it absolutely stunning, drinks choices well thought out and to meet all tastes, always happy and able to recommend local wines to match each course. It’s the perfect location with children - the kids club staff are really good with varied activities.
The Covid situation has been carefully thought out. Testing all guests on arrival, superb cleanliness (as ever) , replacing menus with QR codes. We miss the amazing buffet lunches (but our waistlines probably don’t) and the a la carte choices are delicious and always happy to find something for the little ones.
We are definitely spoilt as have never found a hotel which can compare.

We spent a special vacation, rescheduled often due to the pandemic, in Greece, at the Ikos Olivia Hotel. It was at the end of June 2021. The hotel is placed in a beautiful location, with some large, spacious rooms and exemplary cleanliness, done constantly, from morning until evening.
From the reception, we were greeted with hospitality. It was a real pleasure to meet Katerina, from the reception, or Elena, from the customer relationship, who promptly resolved any request.
The food was really special. The four a la carte restaurants , the buffet and the open bars, offered you an extremely varied menu of fine food and wines. Each menu was supervised by a Michelin-starred Chef.
The staff was professional and the service exemplary. Do not hesitate to ask for culinary advice, from Vanessa (Provence), Nadas (Anaya), Fotini (Flavors), Stephan (Uzo) , or Eirene, (dietetician).
The beach was beautiful, with sunbeds and generous umbrellas. Extremely clean water, with fine sand, without stones, allowed you to swim safely to the open sea.
Do not hesitate to ask for the services of two girls on the beach ... True robots, regardless of the temperature outside, served you with great kindness (beautiful Klea and Cristina). t
Also the garden is beautiful !
Although I traveled a lot, I rarely met a nicer hotel than Ikos Olivia!

We stayed at Ikos Olivia from 29/9 to 6/10. After a warm welcome by Vicky C. on arrival, our Covid 19 vaccination certificates were checked and we were allowed to take off our mouth caps. We were immediately impressed by the expansive resort in a beautiful and well-maintained green setting. Nowhere and at no time does one have the impression that the hotel is fully booked. We stayed in a
comfortable superior double room with sea view, decorated in fresh light blue tones. We were surprised with a bottle of champagne and mousse au chocolat pastry. The airy room was, among other things, equipped
with sufficient hanging and wardrobes, a sofa, iron and ironing board, Nespresso coffee machine and a minibar that was replenished daily. The bathroom had a rain shower and a decent hairdryer. The food & beverage was
sublime. We had the choice of a buffet restaurant (Flavors) and 4 à la carte restaurants: Ouzo (Greek), Provence (French), Fresco (Italian) and Anaya (Asian). The choice of well-prepared and tasty dishes in the buffet
restaurant is overwhelming. We liked the Greek restaurant
Ouzo the least. There is a wide choice of wines (about 300!) and the ones we drank on the recommendation of the staff were quite good. In the lobby bar, pool bar and beach bar you can choose from a wide range of
cocktails, mocktails and international drinks. Around the three heated swimming pools and on the 450 m long private beach there are plenty of comfortable sun beds and a towel service. One of the strongest points of this
hotel is without a doubt the extremely friendly staff. They are all always available, extremely helpful and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Vicky C. and Elena K. from guest relations regularly came to ask if everything was to your liking. As a back patient, the mattress of our bed was too soft, resulting in back pain. When I reported this to Katerina from reception and returned to the room, the sofa bed had already been converted into a bed with a hard mattress and bedding. Akis, Anna-Maria and Vasiliki from the Flavor restaurant, Areti and Antonis from the lobby bar and Elena and Vicky from guest relations deserve a special mention here for their attentive service and helpfulness. When we left, Elena K. surprised us with a stylish Ikos beach bag and a bottle of Ikos olive oil. There was little to do in the outdoor environment of Ikos Olivia. Gerakini's beach promenade looked neglected and desolate. That is why we booked a trip to Thessaloniki from the hotel and a day cruise to Mount Athos.

Went here with my wife and 1,5 year old daughter for a week. Although the price was a bit above what we would normally spend on a holiday, it was worth every penny.

As all other reviews mention, the staff is incredible. Nothing is too much to ask for. I had zero complaints and am pretty critical. They are amazing.

We've traveled to many different places and can safely say that we don't believe there is a better place to go when you simply want to relax and have no worries at all.

For people looking for a little adventure we highly recommend the watersports team. We rented a waterscooter and I did the flyboarding with them, both were great experiences for the more adventurous.

Our little girl stayed in the daycare for 3 hours every day, a great little moment for me and my wife to be able to swim and relax together a bit. Our daughter also enjoyed it immensely, the team took great care of her.

With so many people mentioning the amazing staff we must add that the great staff is all around the resort, the cleaners, chefs who are a little more invisible also did an incredible job.

The free rental car was great too and of course the resort made sure we had a lunch package and towels for the day. It's a nice area to explore and the staff (of course) had great tips for beaches.

One tip for guests, don't be afraid to ask for anything. If the pillow is not to your liking they will change it, if you child wants to eat something specific, they will prepare it.

This place is rated this high for a reason. If you're already considering this place - stop wasting your time and book it. You won't regret it.

Thanks team Ikos Olivia for an amazing week. We never return to the same place twice as there is so much to see in the world, but for you we'll gladly make an exception! Hope to come back one day... Monica, Sjoerd and Emma.

Hi there. Yes, the Ikos resorts do have alcohol-free beer - my husband drinks it. At breakfast you can either eat in the buffet restaurant, Flavours, or in Ouzo, Province or the Gardens. None require booking for breakfast. In fact dinner is the only time you need to book for, except for Flavours.
