We stayed in Casa Cimino B&B for 2 weeks in September. Its location is perfect - in the heart of the historic center of Monopoli, 2 steps away from piazza Garibaldi with its restaurants ("Dal Ghiottone" and "La dolce vita" highly recommended), gelaterie (Caruso is a must!), caffes and center of evening life; shops and mini markets within a 5...

This delightful B&B is located in the old town of Monopoli, thus it carries the traditional architectural features of the place, which are lovely. The building has been refurbished with attention to detail and great taste. The place is clearly newly done up and the materials used are of great quality. The family, composed of dad Massimo and son Mirko,...

The B&B is in a terrific location, just off the main square Piazza Garibaldi where life takes place. It is fairly close to the free parking at the old port which is important considering that you're not allowed to drive in the Centro Storico. The two town beaches, Porto Bianco and Porto Rosso are also within comfortable walking distance. Massimo...

We had a lovely stay here for two nights. Massimo and his son were great hosts and very friendly and gave great advice. They catered for our daughter who eats gluten free food so that was a nice touch and unexpected. The B&B was very clean and comfortable in a great location in the old town. Would definitely stay here...

A welcoming B&B in a narrow street just off the square by the port in old town. Period Italian building so occasionally 'mind your head'. Family run - friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. Roof terrace. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We had a large bed with en suite modern bathroom. Room equipped with a safe. Italian breakfast, good coffee,...

This was our 4th stay in Monopoli and B&B Casa Cimino is one of the better B&Bs we have stayed at. We will stay there on our next visit to Monopoli. The owner is very helpful and informative. Very good breakfast.

Visited in Dec/2014; great small hotel, I believe 4 rooms, one is a single; excellent location; extremely nice owner/manager; very clean rooms and well decorated; definitely on the list to stay here again when in the area; no lift/elevator if that is an issue; great older restored structure;

Just spent a week in Puglia including 3 days at Casa Cimino. Found with the help of trip advisor and booking.com and what a find it was. Great location a couple of minutes walk from the Piazza Garibaldi and a couple more to the port parking at Christoforo Columbus. Very handy for the many restaurants and bars within the old...

And B&B Casa Cimino is the perfect place to stay in Monopoli: it is very close to the harbour parking (put Via Cristoforo Colombo 1 in you navi), just around the corner to the most lovely place in old Monopoli: Piazza Garibaldi (you...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B&B Casa Cimino has been established in an environment of late 19th century in Monopoli (Bari). The house, built in the historic Via Cimino, which, in the 16th century, corresponded to the border of the old city, the current "Historic Center", was almost adjacent to the walls that protected the population from the frequent invasions of the Lombards, Venetians, Aragonese and Spanish, which, during centuries of invasions, have certainly left in the city's architecture many sites to visit such as the Castle of Charles V, the town-walls, the Abbey of St. Stephen, as well as many religious cave dwellings and historical buildings all over the territory. ... more   less
