I stayed at Stallaini for over a week in early May with colleagues. We each had a room with private bathroom. How many times it was cleaned, I don't really care. I found my room clean and in order each day and it felt like home. Stallaini is actually quite difficult to describe in few words! It is so different... More

This was my third time at Loredana and Roy's agriturismo. We went again just before Easter, and enjoyed the same welcome as before. Wonderful food, farmhouse and location with kind attention to individual needs. Chance to practise my Italian too!! Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a tour of the surrounding territory with its ancient wine/oil press, got involved... More

Yes, they do. They would go on saying that they don't need people's business and they can say no. So be aware they might say no to the hospitality your seeking. It happened to us, we absolutely loved the place and wanted to have our wedding there, but despite everything being ready to go ahead on paper, when we went... More

Based on the reviews on tripadvisor I booked two nights at this agriturismo for me, my husband and our 4 year old daughter. We were not disappointed. Loredana and Roy were so welcoming from the moment we arrived. We took a nice tour of the farm upon our arrival. It's a lovely place. After the tour we explored on our... More

Wonderful house, outbuildings, countryside location, fantastic views, seaside within 15 minutes by car, home cooking, home-made wine and olive oil), terracotta tile painting, beautiful weather, indoor and outdoor pools; friendly guests; donkey, puppies .... the list goes on! After visiting the lovely (but difficult to reach) Cava Grande canyon, we stopped at this lovely agriturismo for a dinner without any previous booking. We received a warm welcome by the owners and had a great dinner made of local specialties with rich explanation on both the dishes and history of the farm. The owners are doing a great job... More

We (family of 4 with 2 young children) spent July in the Siracusa area. Local friends once took us for lunch at Stallaini and it was love at first sight. The agriturismo is in the middle of nowhere, in a abandoned cave with what looks like the ancient miners' village and church. Loredana and Roy have the greatest sense of... More

“There are only 4 rooms... this is like staying in a home.”

“I have seen 3 rooms nicely decorated with good taste, that all have a double bed (one has also an extra small bed), a bathroom with a shower, and a window. No air condition but the nigths were nicely cool. There is one room at the first floor and 2 at the second floor with a small relaxing room in between the two, and with tons of books to read in english, italian and other languages. There is another room apart in a small tower, on two floors but I have not visited. They have also small houses to rent. There is also a small museum as they collect nice material of Sicily. Accessible to wheelchair too.”
