We stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon traveling around Italy and were very pleasantly surprised. The owner, Luca, was very helpful and accommodating, easily contactable by phone beforehand and showed us round the property with great attention to detail then left us to it. The traditional country house had recently been renovated and had everything you'd expect...

This is a great place to go one or more families with very nice flats and a nice garden. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about olive oil production as the family produces olive oil on the estate. They also have a very nice restaurant just 500 meter up the mountain in the outskirt of the village Montecarlo. Montecarlo...

We stayed here along with 19 of our friends and family for our wedding. The houses were beautiful and well maintained and the owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The location is perfect for a short walk(uphill) into Montecarlo itself- which has amazing ice cream!- and a perfect base for access to Lucca, Siena, Florence etc....

My wife and I spent five nights at Agriturismo Vecchio Olivo the later part of October 2013, it was almost at the end of a thirty day tour of Italy. As it turned out we were glad we saved the best until last and was far beyond all our expectations. After a phone call we were met at the Agriturismo's...

Our time in Italy would not have been the same if we didn't stay here. The house was perfect for 4 adults, with room for more. The kichen was fully equipped but did visit their restaurant a number of evenings too. Monte Carlo ws a very welcoming town where shoes were available to buy at low prices for all ages....

At first: This is not a hotel, but an Agriturismo. I have been in Cottage il Frantoio for two weeks. The cottage has almost all comfort which you can wish: Comfortable wide bed, bathroom, kitchen (including dishwasher, washing machine, gas-cooking and microwave) The cottage lays on a hill in the middle of the olive and grape trees. Cars can be...

“If you are a light sleeper you will be impressed with the sounds of the roosters and the Church bells ringing in the morning from the many churches in the different towns. The water is excellent and straight from the tap, no need to drink the bottle water. Bring your walking shoes you will want to walk to the many palces in Montecarlo and the surrounding area.”
