Its the whole package. Old world charm with modern amenities. Rooms are very nice. The main building is lovely. We had dinner there for 4 nights, every meal was fabulous and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great too. Love their olive oil. The windows open (have screens) and the air was crisp and fresh. No charge for parking. The only negative...

OK. I visit Villa C every six months and always write rave reviews but that is because it really is a beautiful and holistic hotel. It is so tranquil that when a dog barks 3 miles down the valley you can hear it. Being at VC for a few days is like being away for weeks of relaxation and this...

Wonderful place - not only for rooms where you can feel the love with which the owners have recreated this place - you can see it in every little detail of the stylish rooms.... The wonderful breakfast and dinner terrace with excellent service... However our highlight by far was the olive oil tasting with Gema (apologies if spelled wrongly) -...

We stayed here for a chill out 3 day break in August after a busy 4 days in Florence. We were certainly able to relax and enjoyed the lovely pool and ambiance. I have travelled extensively and I would say that breakfast here rates as one of my favourite ever - especially the super fresh honey. We were not quite...

I have been to this hotel a number of times and it is the most beautiful place...old fashioned Tuscany just like you see in the brochures...Cypress trees and fields of sunflowers greet you when you open the wooden shutters in the morning. Gorgeous rooms of rich reds and golden heavy fabrics, marble bathrooms and beamed ceilings...with a memorable smell of...

Stayed here on our way home to Switzerland. After travelling up a very narrow road to this beautiful old villa we were greeted by a pleasant lady. She took us to our room located on the first floor overlooking the hotel park. It was like stepping back in time with old style bed, rustic furnishings and a wobbly fan. No...

This was our second year returning to this beautiful resort. The service received from the two sisters at the front desk was still the same excellent warm service we received last year! We are completely in love with this place but I have to be honest when writing a review. The reason why I have given a 4 star rating...

We attending a friends wedding held in and around the villa. This was an amazing scenic location with great food and a staff that put great effort and concern into making sure it was a good time. We will come back again to explore the villa and the location!

We had originally planned to stay three nights, but lucky for us the self catering apartment Dalia was available for a fourth. We cannot say enough. The accommodation was brilliant, the setting breath taking, the service first class, the food fantastic...but most important, the people that you will think of as family when you leave. We only have a certain...

A fabulous, authentic hotel with charming service and wonderful grounds, a lovely pool and excellent sun-beds. Disappointingly, the restaurant is prohibitively expensive as a three meal a day option but a wonderful treat if you are feeling like splashing out for the occasional supper. Calm and peaceful, reminiscent of old style Italy although the newly invented air-conditioning would not go...
