The aparthotel is located on the first line of the beach. Upon arrival I already had the room, which is very appreciated because it helped us take advantage of the time we had since it is an express weekend trip. Super friendly staff. In the month of November the area is quiet and they offered us services such as riding a bike (1 hour free) and free parking (as long as there is space) but still around the area even though it is a blue/green zone, in the weekend we have been it was no longer paid. There are complimentary amenities such as a toothbrush, comb, tissues and a bottle of water. We have chosen a single room, because that is what we needed
Comfortable bed, everything looks clean, the only negative drawback would be that there are corners in the bathroom that have mold.

Lovely coastal apart/hotel with good restaurant and lovely staff. We stayed in a ground floor room with garden view and was perfect for a stopover in Barcelona. The bed was large and comfortable, pillows could be better, room was spotlessly cleaned, good shower with shampoo and body wash. Overall quite a pleasant surprise. Breakfast choice was good, fresh and prices excellent. Wonderful staff in restaurant

Seafront hotel in a quiet location just 30 minutes by train from Barcelona. Good structure with both rooms and apartments that I recommend to those who want to visit Barcelona but don't like the chaos of the city to stay there. The hotel cafe and restaurant are also good. In front there is a nice pedestrian cycle promenade for walks or a ride with the hotel's bicycles.

Apart hotel is fine, nice and clean, the walls are thin so it is noisy although not many people here. Girl in the breakfast room lets the whole place down. She is unhelpful, arrogant and very rude to people. She needs to move on or be moved on. A good location ideal for beach and bars. Shame about the bar staff.

We stayed in a studio apartment on the top floor which had a lovely large balcony with a seating area, sun loungers and a great view of the beach. The studio was clean with a comfortable bed, and room enough for two. There is basic kitchen equipment supplied which is enough to get by for a week's stay. The aparthotel is in a good location, directly opposite the beach and within easy walking distance to many shops & restaurants. Staff are friendly and we would return.
Can get noisy at night, especially with the bar staff emptying the glass bottle bin in the early hours

Just about to leave room 308 after 2 weeks of peace and contemplation. Top floor (4th) with huge sunny balcony and functional kitchenette. V clean and friendly and right on the front, whats not to love. The seafront/boardwalk is about 8km long and its only 10 minutes from the airport.

The V95 bus takes you right in to central Barca for only €2.20, bargain!

I even got a tan!

We were booked in a studio apartment on the 3rd floor. The only way to access this was via a 'fire escape' on the outside of the building. No interior stairs at all, rather scary steps with gaps in between, our dog refused to use them and I was not too keen. We had to settle for an alternative standard room without the facilities we required.

The Solifemar is a great place to stay if you want to spend time on the beach and explore Barcelona. The rooms are a nice size, clean, and comfortable. It featured a good sized bathroom (especially for Europe), as well as air conditioning and a strong, free wifi. My room also had a fridge and microwave and large bottles of water are available onsite for 1 Euro.
The location is fabulous. You walk across the street to a beautiful beach and the Solifemar provide free beach towels and umbrellas. There's also a rental place on the beach if you want to upgrade your beach time. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. Barcelona is a 25-minute ride or a 35 Euro cab fare away. The airport is 15 minutes away (30 Euro cab fare).
The staff was friendly and helpful and even put up with my terrible Spanish! Several times they arranged for cabs for our group and it was always done quickly.
There is a restaurant on the property that features a good, inexpensive breakfast. However, service is very slow so I wouldn't recommend it if you want a quick bite to eat before heading out.
It's a great place to stay on the beach for a reasonable amount of money.

Front view from your terrace - what can be better? My God, I just love it all! Nice, quiet residential area. Room is very simple, well - you need just your bed and I was sleeping like a baby and the sea was "singing" its lullaby..
The kitchen has all minimum to prepare the food.
Bicycles are for free - let yourself enjoy with nice ride on wild and long boulevard by the sea and pine trees! I felt myself like a child :) Thanks a lot "Solifemar" to made my stay unforgetable!

We had a very large deck overlooking the beach in a residential area of Castelldefels, just beyond the Barcelona airport. The room was equipped with a kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave and stove (no oven).

The rooms are simply and neatly decorated, and you cannot beat the view!

Our apartment was on the third (top) floor, and all rooms face the sea.
Just be aware that bags must be carried up and down exterior stairs,
as there are no elevators. If that's a problem you can always stay on the ground floor.

The hotel is very well run and clean, quite relaxing, bearing in mind that
we were there in October when I imagine things are calmer than during the summer.

I didn't see anything offered or I'd have taken them up on it, maybe. We just hopped in a tax. It was a bit over €20 each way and didn't take long - about 15 minutes I think.

Yes, the kitchens are very well equipped IF you get one with proper SC facilities. We did that walk up three flights as there was little choice. No fun at all but the view was great! I didn't notice a supermarket but it's on a bus route and taxis are everywhere. Don't suppose it's far.

They are small one bedroom apartments, so one double bed, and two folding beds in the lounge.
