At the beginning of October, I had to go on a Business trip to Barcelona on very short notice. Unfortunately there was a huge GAMES conference in the city and it was impossible to find a room (hostels and dormitories were the only choices). I looked for rooms further and further outside of the city and came across this location... More

Absolutely amazing place up in the mountains, off the beaten track. Completely silent, away from the city noise and lights. Keith and Natalie are extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be going again.

My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights following a trip to Rome and Sitges. Masia Sumidors is a hidden gem, the location is breathtaking and the hotel is steeped in character, it's an absolute treasure. We stayed in the suite which was amazing and enjoyed the use of the pool with a view that could make anyone... More

We've been visiting Catalonia for a number of years and like to stay in quieter and different places that reflect the Catalonian style and history. We also look for comfort, quality and an efficient but 'laid back' approach to customer service. This place provides all of this in bundles. Natalie and Keith, the new owners, worked relentlessly to ensure our... More

The host that took over the place this year are really nice and we felt really welcome. The bar is a great way in the evening to meet people that are in the b&b. Yes it is a house of 400 years old but, old doesn't necessary means outdated. In that case it is. I phoned to know if the... More

Stunning building, idyllic setting and the perfect place for a peaceful relaxing break. We received a warm welcome from owners Natalie and Keith and nothing was too much trouble for them during the course of our stay. We also enjoyed several delicious meals during our stay. The menu is based on tapas using locally sourced products, but Keith also served... More

Keith and Natalie are doing a great job of making Sumidors a special place to stay. This is a great place with good food and rustic surroundings in a 400 year old historic masia. Don't be put off by the rough track winding up the side of the hillside. This helps keep the place quiet and away from it all.... More

We travelled to Sitges for a wedding in another location, and ended up booking a room at Masia Sumidors and loved every bit of it. It really felt more like a great stay at nice friends villa than any else, and I mean that in the best possible way, our experience definitely envied by many of the other wedding guests... More

Natalie and Keith are welcoming hosts. The food is locally sourced and full of flavour. There are some great walks - the wild flowers are many and varied. The weather was unseasonable (cool and wet), otherwise it would have been an excellent score. It didn't stop us swimming! It is near to Barcelona and accessible by car; note that the... More
