I stayed in this hotel on 28 July 2016. The hotel is on the hill and you need about 10 minutes’ walk from the Rideralp Station to the hotel. The whole hotel was decorated in traditional Swiss style (e.g. wooden furniture) and every room got a balcony. Outside the hotel there was a big piece of grassland and it was...

The hotel has four separate buildings in connection with its group and Art Furrer is the 4th one on the roll. The hotel structure is stylish of timber structure but simple and clean in all aspect. The staff are patient and efficient. The rooms are spacious and you can view the mountains and golf lawn from the balcony without going...

As a family(3 people), hotel just upgrade our room to a big room at the top of the west building, with well swiss style fitment and furniture, in the middle of big living room, even has a real fireplace, we just image the warm time after ski, even in Aug. still enjoy a lot for a great view to a...

The building was very old with old elevators, compared to the newer and better buildings "Royal" of the same property. The bathroom in my room was simple and clean....but the way they hang the shower curtain was a bit inappropriate, leaving not enough room to take a proper shower. As in most of the countryside hotels, Swiss plug only. My...

We stayed in a double room on the 1st floor for 3 nights in August 2015. We were on a package tour and do not know the standard room rate. The room was spacious, but I personally think the 4-poster bed doesn't work in a room like that with limited ceiling height. It was clean and comfortable anyhow. We get...

On a ski weekend alone, I went for low price and great location and got exactly what I paid for. No more. I had a double room facing north, which is the simplest room type the hotel offers. It's simple, clean and reasonably comfortable but the soundproofing is awful. I kept wondering if the kids above me would crash through...

I stayed here for 4 days for a business trip and found several things dissappointing and not up to the standard one expects of a 4* hotel: - Unfriendly receptionist - she didn't seem to really care about customer experience or deal with problems that were raised. Needs staff training to give better and friendlier customer service. - Lack of...

My family loved the Art Furrer hotel. The rooms were modern and comfortable, the amenities outstanding, and the staff treated us the way I imagine royalty would be treated! They gave me the feeling they felt as if they couldn't do enough for us, and when a family member would have a special request, the answer was pretty much invariably...

We were in the "old" part of the hotel so not the new "Royal" part. The room are convenient but a bit small shower lacking a bath. Just one minus point is the choice of pillows. Very small and soft. The room looks a bit dated but convenient with all one needs. Service is absolutely great. When we arrived with...

This review is of the “Art Furrer Resort Hotel”. This is the group of four relatively old buildings and should not be confused with the very new “Royal” which is just opposite (and houses the reception) nor the Alpenrose nor any other of the hotels that bear Art’s name! The four buildings are built together but do not interconnect. Therefore...
