Maybe my experiences have been in better hotels and this was the only hotel in Gieten, so I didn't have choice. Here are my comments: Good - Spacious room,clean room Not so good- Dull room and too much brown, very minimilistic room, only a bath as the roof was slanted and I couldn't stand in bath, 1 small shampoo liquid,...

We stayed here because it was close to a wedding that we were attending and it was recommended to the guests. It was indeed a very good recommendation and although we only stayed one night, we were met with friendly staff, a clean room, good value for money and a breakfast buffet that had everything needed; but not too much.

A pretty good hotel, pleasant room, good clean bathroom, internet in the public parts, lovely garden and terrace to sit out (when it's not raining), excellent breakfast. Good value for money. Would stay there again.

The piece de résistance of the hotel is without doubt the ancient looking open fire place that dominates the dining area.
