Small and genteel stately home in a hilly part of east NL, set in beautiful landscaped grounds with rolling nature views both front and back, plenty of space for short walks and outdoor games with kids without even leaving the estate. Lovely bucolic feel. The interior downstairs is traditional with dark old wood panelled walls, rooms are modernized, simply but stylishly decorated, simple bathrooms also but clean and in very good condition. We were with family and friends, group of 9 with kids from 8-15. Some of the standard ‘comfort’ rooms are on the small side, deluxe room was spacious, grand delux is very big and they are happy to put in an extra cot. Light train/motorway noise from rooms at back but occasional and didn’t bother us. On site restaurant is stylish and absolutely delicious and they were very flexible about adjusting menu for kids. Also baby goats on the property :) . And all for 3 star and a very reasonable price indeed ! We all loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

A great place for celebration or to just stay and enjoy the luxury, the calm and extraordinary nature.
The hotel rooms are very comfortable, clean and cosy. The surroundings of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! We had a delicious dinner in restaurant Het Koetshuis.
Staff on the whole is very friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you check in. Due to Corona my parents choose not to eat from the breakfast buffet, so a perfect breakfast was brought to their room. Service is exquisite!

We stayed for 3 nights, our room was on the first floor. It can be noisy, depending on the other guests. Our room are somewhat small but clean and tidy with good bed and small bathroom. We missed a locker or at least something to store clothes without putting them back into the suitcase at night,
After 18:00 there is no staff at the hotel, a drink or coffee is not possible after 18:00 unless you walk to the restaurant. That was disappointing as we like to sit outside and enjoy nature on this special location.
Breakfast is good (if not overcrowded). Dinner is fantastic with the very good restaurant and friendly staff.
The location is geographically more than excellent. You can literally walk into the Veluwezoom in a minute. By bike the whole area with Doesburg and IJssel is a guarantee for enjoyable trips

Had to sleep early as I had a long day and had to wake up early. When 10PM there was a LOT of noice in the stairway and downstairs I called reception and they promised to stop building (10PM?!) unfortunately I had to call 2 more times.
And apperantly my very small room with very small bed was located above the front door wish was slammed several times many times all night long.
Location is great and so I was kind enough to give the hotel the chance to talk about this and called them the next day.
The employer who I also spoke that loud night answered and spoke very very cold and saying he knew who I was; room 112 correct? He said he would tell his manager to call me and she probably would have time that afternoon.
Never got the call and am surprised a hotel doesn’t take the chance to talk to their guest, before writing a review
So word of advice; don’t agree with room 112 and book a room for 2 person as you feel locked in a loud closet.

We were blown away by the location, right on the Veluwezoom, easy walk to the most picturesque view and forest. The food in the restaurant is world class, especially for the price which is affordable for the quality. The harvest table was a nice touch, choosing a 300g ribeye that was served to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us great tips on what to order and where to go walking. Breakfast was delicious too, great options and great coffee. Will be back !

Beautiful location but very noisy and small room.

The location is really very nice and very suitable for walking as well.

The single room was small, the heating is not adjustable and it is now just a bit dated. This results in spots and stains on the walls e ceilings, broken door rubber in the very small shower cabin (do not drop anything because picking it up is difficult in such a small space).

In addition, very noisy. Lots of noise from tapping heating pipes (probably). When the front door of the hotel closes, the windows in this room flap.

,Late at night (23:00) they go downstairs to clean up the cups at the coffee machine. Very much noise and no effort to be quiet.

From 7 a.m. the noise of loud people starts in the hall. Sleep may have actually happened. If you want to sleep in, this is not your place:)

Breakfast is served in the restaurant 150 metres away. In itself not very but annoying that you first have to go outside to have breakfast.

Nice stay but little personal and really welcoming.

Room is quite nice and efficiently decorated. Setting is beautiful.
There was a private party going on both in the estate and in the coach house, where we turned out to spend the night. Those weddings apparently consumed all the attention of the staff. When we arrived, raining, on our bikes, we were handed the door map of the room that turned out to be in the coach house. Could we go again with all our luggage... The coach house is about 5 minutes away from the house. Once there no greeting, no welcome speech, no explanation about breakfast or a drink... We had plans to eat in the restaurant and we had several emails about it but when we wanted to make the final Reservation for later that evening it turned out to be closed because of the wedding. That was a big disappointment because I had eaten there once before and was really looking forward to it. When we returned to our room halfway through the evening there was still a lot of noise from the wedding. Logical but we are also guests in the hotel and you hope for some more peace after a strenuous day. That noise went on for a long time that night and also a lot of noise in the hallway when the wedding guests went back to their room. logical but we have not paid a lot of money to stay there. At breakfast it turned out that the requested lactose free products for my girlfriend were not there. No soy milk; nothing.. This while it had been passed on weeks ago and was also promised. We ran out of fruit salad. Not well purchased. Brown bread no longer in stock. when my friend the staff about this claim came a vague reply that it would only have been reported yesterday. Even when you check out, no one asks how you had it. We felt it was all very impersonal. It should have been the end of the holiday but it definitely wasn't. It might be better not to book regular guests at such a party. We really didn't feel seen just a kind of "bycatch".

Just on the border of the Veluwe, great views, great service... Take a hike on their own venue or have a longer walk at the Veluwezoom. Even now (start spring) it is just lovely.
We stayed 1 night and have booked this venue for our wedding. Also visit / eat at the Koetshuis!!

We decided to sleep here for our 2-day motorcycle road trip through the Netherlands. Always nice to sleep on an estate and on the edge of the Veluwezoom and the Posbank. The room in the Koetshuis was neat and the bathroom clean. Yes, breakfast is pricey, but what isn't expensive these days? We had a very nice meal in the evening, our waiter came with great suggestions and was attentive without being pushy. We had a wonderful time there.

The only "downside", the gravel in the parking lot. Fortunately, I had a "plank" with me for under my stand, which keeps the motorcycle in a good position, but if more motorcyclists come, remember to take it with them.

Went here to celebrate a wedding and was stunned by the place. Beautiful environment and great that you can eat and sleep at the same place. Rooms are very clean but a bit hot in summer as there is no aircon but they do have ventilators at every room. Breakfast is served in another building which is a nice stroll if you stay at the mansion. Would love to visit again and highly recommend it for any idyllic wedding.
