Well, I saw the old reviews in relation to "dirty" / "Incompetent staff" and so on, the reviews are dated 2014....anno 2023...nothing changed. We stayed for 1 night and booked an Easter breakfast, apart from a couple of small chocolate eggs... The room was honnestly very dirty and noisy, at 03:00 in the morning our neighbours came home from a very cheerfull evening. Probably the ideal place for bachelor parties, if you re with the family .. avoid the place. In the morning problem was mentionned to the reception....very unprofessional attitude, hospitality business is something which is totally unknown to staff. 200 Euro a night, 15 euro breakfast are not worth the money, there are more than enough B&B in the neighboorhood or Van der Valk alternatives. Being a frequent traveller privately and business wise this hotel is probably in the top 3 of worst experience of the last 10 years.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay very much. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a very good rate. The apartment is not big but very tastefully decorated. It has a separate bedroom, a small kitchen and a balcony. It was super clean and comfortable. During our stay we only experienced friendly faces and a super service of the people at the front desk.

We only stayed over night, but still had a chance to understand the comfort of this hotel. Big parking place, wonderful inner pool and sauna, fitness room, nice simple but sufficient breakfast. There are so many restaurants near by and definitely this is the place to stay longer. Our room was double deck and very spacy. Sofa, TV, bathroom, balcony, two bedrooms with soft beds.

Quite unpleasant journey in this dishonest resort by some aspects. Decent setting and facilities but mediocre treatment of the customer. The house keeping in particular is astonishingly poor. However, the employees at the reception are pretty smilling and welcoming... it is still unsufficient !

They charged me 40 euros to repaint all the bungalow I stayed in because they said one wall was dirty. As a proof they sent me one picture of a normal wall. They wanted to charge me 40 euros because a chair broke when a friend sat on it. They charged me 30 euros to buy a new table because there was a stain on mine when I left. And they told me all this over mail one week after I leave, though the bungalow was checked before I left and then they told me everything was alright. Basiccally I was scammed over 70 euros.

Generally really bad service from the reception, I experienced a lot of miscommunication, lack of knowledge from the people hired there and very bad attitude. They seemed very unprofessional. I won't recommend living here!

We had a studio room for five nights. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Amenities:- Twin beds pushed together Two ring electric hob Microwave Fridge Saucepans, crockery and cutlery Few sachets of milk, tea, coffee and sugar Tea towel & sachet of washing up liquid Safe Plenty of storage Shower room with soap dispensers Hair driers are available from reception. Towels were changed every day and the room was clean and warm. Our friends had a small apartment which slept four. Their room had a dishwasher and an oven. We would all have liked a toaster provided as we mainly self catered. Unfortunately our extractor fan didn't work so we set the smoke alarm off!! However any faults reported to reception were quickly rectified. There is a bar at the hotel but regrettably nowhere to have a meal other than breakfast. Gym, pool and sauna etc were excellent, clean and well maintained. You are given an entrance card which is also used for the locker. There are several supermarkets a few minutes away, Jan Linders and Jumbo are the ones we used, both well stocked. Restaurants are plentiful and you can walk to one about half a mile away if you turn right at the entrance to the hotel - 'De Oude Molen', good food at a reasonable price. Lovely countryside surrounds Groesbeek so it is possible to walk for miles. Be aware that after 10pm the night entrance must be used - this also applied when we left at 6am for our flight home - caused some confusion! We would stay again without hesitation.

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed it so thought we would stay here again but was disappointed with our room this time. We booked a double room but got give 134 a family room which meant the actual bedroom size was tiny. Literally a bed fitted in and with no windows meant the room was boiling in the nightime, in march for knows what it would be like in the summer!!!! Also if I had children there is no way I would let them sleep in mezean room with the death staircase!!!! However the facilities in the room was good and the bathroom was fine. The facilities were brilliant swimming pool, steam, sauna and gym equipment brilliant if you are a regular gym goer you will not be disappointed. The staff were so helpful and friendly made it a pleasant stay. The breakfast was very European but lovely German bread and plenty to choose from. If i had been staying longer than 3 nights i would have asked to move room and my stay would have been perfect. I will definitely stay here again but will make sure i get a proper double room like i had when we first stayed.

Stayed here for one night in a studio on the 1st floor. Checking in was quick and staff member friendly. This place offers a lot of extra's. Like a gym or sauna and more. The studio was fine. Big enough for two. Kitchen with everything present. Sitting area outside. It was clean and towels present. Minor thing was that there were two separate beds together wich is fine but they kept sliding apart. So big gap in between. And the terras for the room next door is next to the side window of the room so if people sit outside and talk loud it could be annoying I suppose. But we were lucky and had no issues with that. Wifi had to be switched to get good connection. Didn't use any of the facility's so can't comment on that. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would come back here.

We stayed in one of the family apartments for a couple of nights at the end of July. Facility's were pleasing and good value for the price we paid. Groesbeek as a lovely small town with some good historical places nearby to visit.
