Detailed Reviews
I stayed here while in The Netherlands on business. This property has a good location that's close to the train station with numerous restaurants within walking distance. The "Herrenkamer" Whiskey Bar was a nice, unique, and classy place to relax and network with my colleagues. My room was of a good size, and well laid out with a very comfortable mattress. Finally, there were some real shining stars on the staff (Christine - who keeps the Herrenkamer Bar on some nights, a Chinese lady and a very jolly Dutch lady both of whom are at the front desk) who went out of their way to make my stay pleasant.
However, they are suffering from some recent staff turnover which made for some below par and slow service at times. Also, the Herrenkamer was closed without notice for a private party one particular night; which was particularly frustrating in light of the fact we'd given notice that we would be bringing non-hotel guests there after a team-building exercise. The preceding, coupled with the lack of an elevator for getting luggage to the rooms on the second floor, made for an experience that was somewhat disappointing.
Other points: My room included Free Wifi and Breakfast. The WiFi bandwidth was adequate, but insufficient for FaceTime. My colleagues reported that Skype worked fine. The breakfast was good, but they were very slow to replenish the buffet, resulting in a lack of sufficient quantities for the group we had at this hotel during the 0700 to 0730 rush.
Bottom Line: Recommended with caveats - stay here if you need to be close to the Train Station, don't have much luggage, and after they've had a chance to fully train their new staff. Otherwise, you may want to consider another establishment.

+1
We had a reasonable ok overnight stay. Nice view from room, but hotel has very dirty carpet in corridors, rooms are Old. Sauna was ok, but magazines from 2013 in 2019 doesn’t show much involvement at comfort.. water caraf and glasses would have been nice too. Staf very friendly, service minder. Nice restaurant.

We stayed here for one night on a coupon. It is a pretty mediocre hotel. The room smelled a bit like sweat, the bathroom was last renovated in the 70s and poorly ventilated. The interior of the room was decent. The hotel looks a bit tired though. There was a very faint sound of music coming through the floor from the dining area downstairs. Why this has to be on at 4am is anybodies guess. The hallway was very noisy. The cleaning staff knocked on the door at 9am, which is strange, because we only stayed the one night. Breakfast was included in the coupon. The quality was poor as well. The tables weren't cleaned while people were leaving, the scrambled eggs really salted, the bacon not crispy at all, and the traditional "poffertjes" were tasteless and lukewarm. Coffee was alright!
On the plus side; the staff at front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Painkillers were available free of charge ;)
Why Holland has one of the most expensive hotel prices in the world is definitely not related to the level of luxury. Read my review of the restaurant De Kromsteert for a more positive review!

Incredibly lovely service, from every single member of staff we came across. It does not happen very often like that.
A nice restaurant, and a fantastic games bar, sadly with no pool table:(
Hotel situated in a quiet, green part of Nunspeet, very close to the nice green cycling routes.
A minus -uUnfortunately, it did not feel really that clean..

SABENA -Such A Bloody Experience Never Again!
Due to shortage of suitable staff there was a lack of coffee!, eggs, cheese and many other things during breakfast! One 17 year old girl can not serve 40 guest!

This is a hotel with a soul! Kind personel, extremely great breakfast, heating 24/7, nice view from the window, all functionality is 100%, they are cleaning every day, the location is peaceful, all the best! And for the price I paid, this is the best value hotel around Amsterdam.

Its a very old hotel and he missed the basis conditions.
The room was not cleaned, the white whole was not white anymore, the toilet took more than 10 minutes to refuels and also the shower was not a good water pressure.
From the room we could hear everything in the room next to us.
Was a really disappoint for a Fletchers hotel.

Had to stay here to visit relatives, if I had known there were other places to stay on the other side of the rail line (classed as another suburb) we would have tried there.
Upon arrival we were told there was only one room (instead of the two rooms booked months prior, and confirmed!) A bit of messing around and we finally had our requested - beside each other, 2 x single bedrooms.
"Can we have some help with our bags?" The poor female receptionist had to take all four cases up stairs (extremely narrow treads) to a shut door that needed to be opened (no room!) before she could put each bag down! "Isn't there anyone who can help you?" we asked... "No" was the response from the poor girl.
The carpet in the foyer was like some old worn picnic rug (Stunk too!) As for the carpet upstairs - beggars belief!! Stained (especially against the skirting boards either side), worn almost bare (though the centre of the hallways), lumpy (Trip hazard) and a very strong pet wee smell.
The first room - door handle nearly came off in my hand, we screwed it back on! The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The power point was up so high we had to stack pillows on top of chairs so we could recharge our phones/cameras. The power point in the bathroom was up against the ceiling - impossible to use at all! The toilet was so old there was a pull up function to flush (full flush only, obviously as it was so old). The shower base and the grout all the way up to the shower head was encased in black mould. And the floors (and threadbare carpet) were dirty too.
The sliding door to the outside 'deck' did not lock properly unless you leaned your whole body weight into it to push it shut. The deck had no guard rails either-just fall down onto the ground one storey below!
The other room we had was no better, the heater in that bathroom had the connection through a broken tile that was dangerous! The connection was covered in mould too!
The exterior was being painted at the time, should have bulldozed it instead (although the restaurant and bar area was extremely pretty and should be kept, but the actual accommodation area is atrocious!) The area is pretty and quiet though.
One time there was the three of us girls chatting in one of the rooms with the thin curtains closed (see through) and I felt like someone was watching us, sure enough one of the painters working on the exterior was leering at us through the window...creep! So I shut the heavier curtain in his face!
When we asked for help, at reception, with tickets for the train to get back to Amsterdam, the staff had no idea what we could do!
The breakfast was fine, very good in fact, except for the espresso coffee kept in thermoses....surely you could outlay for an automatic machine.
We had dinner the first night in the restaurant, needless to say... we never ate there for dinner again!
We will not ever recommend nor stay at this place again...For a large hotel chain this is a very poor reflection on your company!

the hotel is warm and clean, surrounded by greenery and with a very nice breakfast. we could see deer from the front door. parking is free.
the staff is helpful and the wifi is also free.
the rooms are not too big but they are clean. Mine had the shower coming out into the room (but they did not provide a mat) and the toilet in a separate room (a bit too close to the corridor, one could hear everything).
They also have a spa but they close it very early.

It's a budget hotel here. It's a shame the rooms were noisy. The facilities in the room were good. At the breakfast buffet some things were no longer replenished like the brown bread. The food here is reasonable. The service is friendly.
