Detailed Reviews
Very comfortable stay in a nice quite town. Located nearby the Veluwe national park (10 min walk or 5 mins bikeride).
The room was quite spacey although bit dark (brighter lightbulbs would solve this) and had an amazing double rainshower - perfect for a nice warm shower after frosty walks in winter Veluwe.
The staff was friendly and the restaurant served incredibly tasty meals with local and organic foods in a cosy setting.

Otterlo is a beautiful small town, next to the national park De Hoge Veluwe. The hotel was really nice, the room was ok for a 2 night stay, the personel also very nice and the restaurant rellay good and affodable. The only thing, is that even though breakfast was really good, it was a little bit expensive for what it was. But we would definitly recommend this place to visit the park.

The Kruller hotel is a fairly mid-range hotel. The rooms are spacious and fully furnished, including a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was dimly lit and cold on a cool summer day.
The breakfast was absolutely super good. The free parking for guests behind the hotel is also great. The welcome was friendly, but the desk is not manned in the afternoon and at night. On the other hand, there is a cozy recreation room with a refrigerator where guests can grab a drink and various seating areas, tables and games. No dinner options but plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

You could call this hotel cozy. Before my arrival a Whatsappje received with the code of the key safe showers and which room I would have. No problem, key was quickly in my hands. One problem is that there is no elevator in this hotel, but only a steep spiral staircase. I honestly didn’t expect that and with a recently operated knee and a medium suitcase, that kick was quite a challenge.
The room is small and looks dated. No air conditioning provided, so on hot days it will be hot here. The bathroom was adequate, but the lighting was not. The rain shower was fine, but the water runs far into the bathroom, so did put a rolled up towel so that the water did not enter the room. The mattress was sagging and I slept in a kind of pit, really not good. A small kettle and a Nespresso machine on the old desk, but the cups of coffee milk were overdue. The TV on the wall is so small that even with the small size of the room you can barely see anything when you are in bed.
No minibar in the room, if you want to have a drink, you have to take something down from the fridge yourself and write it down on a card. However, very little choice, not even a bottle of water if you don't want to drink alcohol. Only at breakfast you see a real person for the first time. Friendly spoken to, but the breakfast is really pretty meagre.
I will not return here.

The hotel only has a reception until 4pm and no restaurant.
the rooms are not very large, but the sanitary facilities were nicely renovated. Each room is themed after an artist. The breakfast is very good; service at the table for the eggs, but otherwise a central buffet with sufficient choice of toppings and bread.

I went late Sept. 2023, but Trip Advisor won't let me review back that far. The location was excellent for visiting the Kroller Muller museum. I was able to get to and from the train station using public transit. As for getting to the Kroller Muller museum, there is a shuttle that picks up near another hotel walking distance from this one. This hotel's breakfast buffet was very nice. I appreciated the homemade granola and other vegan options. I was impressed by the dishware (porcelain?) on display inside the hotel room itself. There is no elevator, so be prepared to haul any luggage up the stairs. Also, I had difficulty getting the TV on and found out I had to climb up to press the button on the top of the TV. It's odd that it would be turned off like that, as I haven't encountered this problem at other hotels before. Overall it was a pleasant experience!

Nice mid-range hotel, without reception, but nice rooms, and nice modern bathroom with plenty of amenities. The breakfast buffet is excellent with very friendly service for several cups of coffee and/or tea. Just miss a trash can in the bedroom.

Small hotel in the center of Otterlo. Nearby some nice restaurants. The hotel was small but nice. Clean rooms. Great breakfast buffet where the staff was particularly friendly. Price - quality fine. I will definitely be back.

Location: in the centre of the small village Otterlo. Supermarket and some shops nextdoor. More important is that the Kröller-Müller museum can be reached in 5-10 min. walk. Parking is behind the hotel.
Service: very friendly and helpful staff. Free Wlan
Room: we had a small room in the main building. For a short stay it is definitely large enough. The room was clean, the bed ok. The shower is equipped with a curtain that could cause the well-known problems for bigger people.
Breakfast: extraordinary good breakfast, both quality and choice. Fresh baked bread (several choices), ham and eggs, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, milk, 100% orange juice, mĂĽsli yoghurt, compote, juice etc.
Dinner: price/quality ok.

A charming old fashioned hotel! I would have liked to rate "very good" but our room was a little bit tatty, painting and electricity should be renewed.
Very good breakfast (the best scrambled egg and bacon we had in the Netherlands!), the restaurant is nice too, free coffee and tea in a lounge with books. The personnel is very nice and attentionate.
