This place really ticks all the boxes. Gorgeous location on the river, with stunning sunsets. Super quiet with a huge terrace. Great starting point for running, biking, hikes.
The room (we stayed in the ground floor river view suite) is large, quiet, super comfy and luxurious, with a nice king size bed, nice large bath and a rain shower. Decor over all is very tasteful. Small downpoint; View to the river is a bit limited and the windows are high, so the room is not super bright. Top floor river view is probably a better bet.
Restaurant is a very cool, bright place with a great vibe, tastefully designed. Talking about tastefull; we had one of the best dinners ever here, super fresh, original and light. Loved it. Breakfast is excellent too. Service is great, very friendly and nice people, at the front desk and in the restaurant.
We rented bikes and explored the area, very beautiful. There are some castles on the route (maps available at the reception).
Corona measurements are in place, very clear and not too much disturbing the relaxed atmosphere .
Even though the hotel was fully booked, it didn't feel crowded at all.
In short; a real treat, if you like quality and design in a super relaxing atmosphere and ditto location. Congrats to the Mooirivier team. We will certainly be back

The accommodation, room, bed, dinner, breakfast as well as the staff and service were excellent. Just praise.
Some 2 comments:
1. During our stay at Mooirivier it was rather hot. The room could only be 'cooled' with 'warm' air from outside through an open window. Perhaps this could be improved.
2. Since you have quite a few seniors as guests (I think) it might be useful to install a shower bracket in the shower. Many seniors will find this pleasant.

We have now been to Mooirivier for the third time. Stays a nice hotel in a beautiful location. Nice boating and cycling. Yet some things are now starting to stand out negatively. The comfort room now costs almost 190 euros without breakfast, a regular room with a sober small bathroom, 1 sink, small shower and toilet. No air conditioning and miraculously a winter duvet. We had a room at the bottom and it was very hot. I asked the maid for a different duvet, but she indicated that the management has opted for only a winter duvet, a winter duvet that I don't go under at minus 20. Quite a strange choice and we were glad we brought a big fan ourselves otherwise we won't sleep a wink. Also the wifi exclusive was not sufficient in the room. Taking into account that a breakfast for two people costs 60 euros, which does not give an exceptional Wow feeling, rent an electric bike 30 euros p.p. The three-course menu costs 56 euros p.p. good food but the dessert in a glass is disappointing in presentation for that price. The outdoor furniture, the iron chairs without handrails and iron tables are substandard if you dine there in the evening for that price. In summary, a pricey story with caveats. Mooirivier should start worrying about the quality-price ratio, which is not in balance now.

Weekend been with the simply enjoy package, consisting of the superior room, 1x 3 course dinner and 2x breakfast. The latter apparently didn't quite come through in the breakfast room, we weren't on the list. Not an insurmountable problem. The food itself was very good, extensive breakfast buffet and dinner at high level, no full plates but measured by taste, quantity and presentation, very good. Improvement point would be wmb the coffee at breakfast; in this price range used to the coffee being poured at seat table. Now it was queuing for the coffee machine. Room is nice, but again in this price range I would expect bathroom is not so freezing, eg underfloor heating and heating in mirrors so that they do not fog up (yes, we are spoiled at home). Presumably the ventilation didn't work well for us either, which explains why mirrors were fogged up.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The terrace on the water is also lovely, on a late summer day in October. A one-time short visit to Wellness is a nice extra, but not too big, so don't expect too much of it. Overall had a wonderful weekend, lives up to the name of the arrangement.

+1
During our recent stay at Hotel Mooirivier in Dalfsen we had an unforgettable experience, where luxury, comfort and a picturesque location came together seamlessly. From the moment of arrival we were enchanted by the serene surroundings and the charm of the hotel, which is beautifully situated on the banks of the Vecht.
Culinary Highlight
Our dinner at the restaurant of Hotel Mooirivier was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our stay. Each dish was prepared with craftsmanship and passion, which was evident in the refined flavors and presentation. We started with an exquisite amuse, followed by a sublime starter of smoked salmon. The main course, a perfectly cooked tournedos, was a real taste sensation, and dessert – a delicate combination of chocolate and red fruit – completed the culinary experience. The matching wines, recommended by the expert sommelier, made dinner a real feast for the senses.
Luxury overnight stay
After an evening of culinary delight we could retire to our comfortable room. The room was spacious, stylishly decorated and offered a beautiful view over the river. The luxurious bed provided a wonderful night's sleep, leaving us refreshed and rested the next morning. The feeling of peace and relaxation that the hotel exudes contributes to the total experience of luxury and comfort.
Breathtaking Location
The location of Hotel Mooirivier is simply breathtaking. Located on the Vecht, the hotel offers beautiful views and the opportunity to enjoy riverside walks or bike rides through the surrounding nature. The serene surroundings provide a sense of escape from the daily hustle and bustle and let you completely unwind.
Conclusion
Hotel Mooirivier in Dalfsen offers a perfect combination of culinary delights, luxury overnight stays and a beautiful location on the Vecht. It is the ideal destination for a romantic getaway, a weekend getaway or just to escape the daily grind. We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to staying here again in the future. This hotel is an absolute must for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in a beautiful setting.

What an oasis of peace experience here at Mooirivier. From the moment you arrive at the hotel, the serenity can be felt. The running water, the winding gravel path, the thatched buildings: very idyllic. The check-in also runs smoothly, professionally, warmly. We start with a delicious lunch on the terrace, the buratta with truffle and asparagus is a must! (So did the scallop salad the next day). Then enjoy a nice canoe trip on the Overijsselse Vecht to admire the green surroundings. It was a warm day, which gave the ideal opportunity to take a dip in this clean river when you return: delicious! Despite the nice weather, I wanted to experience the wellness: what a nice space and facilities. In the evening we enjoyed a 4-course dinner at Restaurant Aan Den Oever: you can't skip a dinner here. Every dish was a surprise and very tasteful. Good portioning and fine service. After the 2nd course rain was expected, so very carefully and quietly all guests were moved inside. This went extremely smoothly. Just for the restaurant we would come back, but the whole experience was completely worth it. If you want to relax and enjoy pure, without too much fuss: come to Mooirivier in Dalfsen.

Very well maintained hotel with very neat and warm furnishings. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and very friendly and professional service. The bar in the hotel was also very well maintained with a lot of expertise from the bartender.

Peaceful and quiet retreat, to relax in the nature.
Gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location. Splendid farm-like buildings, yet modern, situated on the riverbank. Nice décor with a great ambiance. Beautiful large terrace with wonderful view over the river and fields. Beautiful landscape. Very large parking lot.
We stayed 3 nights. First night in a Standard room because there was no availability, then 2 nights in the Riverview Suite. Well-appointed and comfortable rooms. Very clean.
The standard room is rather small and has carpet, which is a minus point. The dark colors make it look even smaller. Not enough light in the bathroom.
The Riverview Suite is very large and has two windows. Not carpet! Very large bathroom with good lights. Comfortable bed. Separate toilet.
Very good breakfast, large buffet with a lot of choice.
We had dinner 3 times at the restaurant. The food was original, fresh and excellent. However, the chef cook is not very flexible! It was not possible to adapt dishes to a gluten-free version and we got the same vegetable of the day 3 evenings in a row!
Very friendly, professional and accommodating staff.
We loved our stay and we will definitely come back .

Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to review. Pleased to read you enjoyed the service and the design of our hotel. Gorgeous hotel in a wonderful location… Thrilled to read that! :-) Happy to hear we were able to sort you out with a roomier Riverview Suite. Something must have gone wrong with your question for gluten-free dishes because that’s normally no problem at all for our Chef. We will discuss it however. Thanks again for your great feedback. We hope to have you back again @ Mooirivier soon! Warm regards, Team Mooirivier

Mooi Rivier lives up to what the name promises: a beautiful, quiet location, warm colors, a soft atmosphere. And really with a beautiful view of a beautiful river (and wide surroundings). On top of that: very friendly and cordial employees, who really give you the feeling that you should have a good time. And not unimportant: a beautiful breakfast with fresh products from the area and a tasty dinner with good wines. You know: beautiful River is really beautiful and worth it!

Hi Valfruit, unfortunately we do not have fitness equipment here on site but there is a gym close by that offers day passes. Our team at the front desk would be more than happy to help you arrange the day pass while you are here with us. If there is anything else we can help you with please do not hesitate to ask.
