Room was clean and beds were fine (hence the two dots). However, there was no phone in the room; what to do in case of emergency when front desk needs to be reached? Staff not overly friendly: answers were provided to questions asked, but unfortunately without a friendly touch or any welcoming warmth, let alone a smile... In the middle of the night (around 3am), rudely awakened by the hotel’s alarm: apparently, a guest had been messing about with the smoke alarm. Fire department had to come and reset everything. Next morning at breakfast time, not a word of apology for what had happened. Only after mentioning it ourselves did the owner apologise. Certainly, the hotel owner nor staff are responsible for some idiot’s shenanigans, but how about a coffee on the house? First and last time guest.

I stayed here for two nights while on business in Dalfsen. My wife accompanied me on this trip. We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Wifi was complimentary, which I appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel so unless you want to haul your suitcases upstairs then I suggest you request a ground floor room (I assume the hotel has them). We had dinner in the hotel one evening. The food was basic but good. The hotel also has an outdoor patio, which is very nice for enjoying a drink when the weather is nice. I would not hesitate to stay here again if in Dalfsen.

Really love this place. Not somewhere you'd find by accident. Slightly off the beaten track but very quaint . Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. Menu wasn't in English but waitress did great job of explaining it all patiently to us. The mixed grill was divine and cooked to perfection. The staff gave us a tour of the rooms and explained it's history with some pride and feeling of genuineness. It has a real family owned feel about it. Highly recommend for couples, families or friends.

We stayed in this hotel one night. The beds are very goods. It is a pity that the room doors have shutters so that these will close with a big bang. This woke us up rather early. The rooms a tiny but it just fits. Further the hotel is a real maze, and it take you at least 2 days to find your day. The breakfast service is decent and ok, with friendly staff. This price is teh best advantage of this hotel we had a double for € 50 and a single room for € 45. I think these prices are unbeatable.
