We took our two dogs to the Crown for a 3 for 2 special offer break. Our room was very good - just outside the main hotel so easy for quick dog walks. A great "dog shower" with hot and cold water for washing the mud off was in the car park. Food was fab, the staff were friendly and...

We managed to book a room over a busy bank holiday weekend. The Crown had not been our first choice, preferring somewhere nearer the coast. However, we were not disappointed. This is a very, very dog friendly establishment and we took one of our small dogs with us for the overnight stay. Staff were extremely welcoming (to both us and...

We booked the Westleton Crown because we wanted to be close to RSPB Minsmere, the purpose of our visit. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome, we stayed in one of the split level accommodation rooms called Marsh Harrier (All rooms have names of birds, nice touch). The downstairs part of the accommodation is rather...

Every room is named after a bird. Ours was very well appointed, clean and comfy. The roll top bath filled up quickly with lashings of hot water . Staff helpfully stored our bikes under lock and key. Gorgeous food. - both dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend.

We took advantage of a midweek deal, room, breakfast and dinner inclusive for £ 175 a night for two people in a double room. The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good too for that part of Suffolk, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Snape, and our main interest Minsmere.

We booked very last minute and stayed here for the August bank holiday weekend. We had some positive but also not quite so positive experiences during our stay. Our room the Dartford Warbler was on the 2nd floor away from the main building and though it was a better room, everything was a little cramped. The TV was tiny and...

Mixed thoughts on The Crown... on the plus side the staff are really helpful and pleasant, great ambassadors for The Crown, the restaurant serves excellent food, the breakfasts wonderful, plenty of parking and Ideal for touring the sights of Aldburgh and Southwold etc. The rooms are very pristinely decorated but ours (The Tern) was fairly small as was the bathroom....

We were looking for somewhere a bit special, that was also dog friendly, near the Suffolk coast and came upon the Westleton Crown. I am very glad we did. The service was excellent throughout, with motivated and friendly staff, who all seemed to get on. The room - The Plover room - was lovely with a sofa, very comfortable bed...

An overnight stay on the recommendation of friends. The welcome from the front desk staff was very friendly and professional, We were shown straight to our room. The online booking process was trouble free. Stayed in the "Plover" room which overlooks the rear courtyard with a small balcony. The room and bathroom were spotless, a real credit to the cleaning...

Nice hotel - staff friendly - rooms can be a little small but still nice. Food is delicious and no problem if you have allergies as they can cater for gluten free. Have stayed here a few times - does tend to have a lot of older clientele that do long walks but we have a six year old daughter...
