Easy to book, great communication when there was a snag. Charles and Rosie were amazing hosts and didn't make any fuss about us being vegetarian (many places have simply removed meat items). The room was clean, comfortable and very well kept, notably with power points by the bed so as to charge phones which main chains seem to have removed.... More

we stayed overnight on a local visit to Wells cathedral .. very friendly and welcoming owners and very comfortable beds in a room at the back of the house which overlooked the pleasant garden, spotlessly clean and a beautiful breakfast served before our departure

I hadn't planned to stay in a hotel this night but it ended up making more sense to stay out than head back to London. Found this bed-and-breakfast through a hotel booking site and was very impressed with everything I found. The hosts were friendly and flexible, the prices were very reasonable, the place was tidy and homely. Location is... More

Stayed only one night. Really warm welcome from the owners, comfy beds and the best selection of drinks in the complimentery basket that we have ever seen: fruit teas, fair trade beverages, drinking chocolateetc and really good biscuits too. The breakfast was fruit, cereal, juice and full English, very weel cooked and presented. Would stay here again.

We live not that far away in Bristol, but decided to visit the countryside on our doorstep, instead of our normal Dorset/Devon destination. What a find! This lovely B&B is run by a very helpful and friendly couple, and they should be very proud. The property is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We stayed... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. The couple were really friendly and accommodating to my needs due to my working hours! Was in a perfect location and they recommended lovely places to eat which were close by! Very clean and well presented and the breakfast was really tasty! Would definitely recommend!!

First time to Somerset for me. Not for my husband. Beautiful area. Gorgeous B & B. Great point to base yourselves. Very friendly owners. Unfortunately we arrived very late due to unforeseen circumstances. They were very understanding and stayed up for us. Breakfast was very tasty. The room very comfortable. Thanks.

We stayed here for two nights and had an absolutely lovely time! The room was a good size, very clean and had everything we needed! Breakfast was gorgeous and the couple that own the B&B are absolutely lovely - they could not do more to ensure we had nice stay. They were so friendly and welcoming - we are hoping... More

Realized that there was a mistake with our booking.com reservation. The date was incorrect. Called the hotel to change the booking but they would not change the date and we were charged for the room even though we did not stay in the hotel. Would not recommend this place!

Charles and Rosie run the Belfield House and they are very welcoming. The entire place was clean and cozy. Our room was a little dated and the bathroom was a little small but very comfortable all the same. We stayed in Room 2, street side. The B&B is within walking distance to a very good chip shop.
