Attending a Birthday Bash in Bawtry and agreed we would stay overnight and checked this place out on the website. The rooms looked lovely and as we were booking through Booking.com we noticed we had been allocated Room 104. It was a special offer on the booking site, the room looked amazing and of course included breakfast. Well, the room...

Have stayed and eaten a few times this year. The bar service is varied depending on the day you eat, always better at the start of the week, and is very random and unwelcoming on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The food is pretty unappetising with the fish pie more like a tasteless soup with floating garden peas, and the fish...

The Hotel has 4 Boutique rooms with a variety of prices depending on size,we stayed in Room 102(which I think is the largest) at a cost of £140.00. The room is...

This is our absolute last time trying with this poor restaurant! The welcome couldn't be less friendly, in fact even trying to get booked is an ordeal. I cannot believe they don't want custom. I wouldn't waste your time trying.

The service, the friendliness and the food were all of very good quality. We only had a main course - I had the fish pie as recommended by the waitress and my husband had a seafood salad. The salad was plentiful and very fresh (though missing tomatoes) and my fish pie was a delicious flavour and had tomatoes on the...

Booked this at the last minute via Laterooms.com for £80 to avoid the holiday traffic on the A1 on a July Friday. The Mayflower was easy to find with lots of free parking. It is a restaurant/bar and had a nice feel about it with plenty of outside tables. Room 101 was at the front but we had no problem...

The meal was very good and service by the young waiting staff extremely good Let themselves down in two areas Friday night - we were sitting outside and the lights just went out and we had cabs booked for at least half an hour later intending to have another drink but on trying the door it was locked. A number...

Family occasion for a meal out. We were led to our table then asked to move as it was already booked. Ordered starter which was ok, pate , would have been nice to have a little more bread. Eventually lunch came which was ok but we've had better. It was not overly busy either but the service was poor and...
