The setting for the Inn is fabulous, and the meal in the restaurant was very homely. The staff were excellent with my two grand-daughters, and the atmosphere was very quaint and professional. I would strongly recommend any family to go there for a nice family day out.

Wanting to meet up with my Scottish colleagues and friends whilst I was on holiday in Scotland. We arranged to meet half way at Dunure. What a find, fabulous food, great menu and pleasant hosts. The food was very tasty, we all had different dishes and we weren't disappointed. We were also allowed to bring in our furbabies so all...

Do stop for the views in Dunure and the food of the Inn. The food was incredible in this small coastal town. Traditional scottish food and other more typical staples like hamburgers. A full bar with anything you could possibly want. The staff are super friendly and very hospitable. A very friendly and yummy experience.

Fortunately all local places fully booked as usual for Saturday nights. Dunure Inn looked OK., after a phone call told only 1 room free. A quick decision to stay. Very friendly welcome, offer of refreshment was accepted, water for the...

We had drinks and had to ask twice for a drink for the little one but hey that's a minor thing. Whilst there someone turned up for his room which he had booked but was not in...

Fleeing the traffic from the Ayr Air Show we found ourselves on the road to Duunure and unable to get to our favourite restaurant we remembered that there was a place to eat in Dunure. The Hotel there used to be called the Anchorage and it was in need of renovation. We had avoided eating in Dunure ever since a...

Travelling round the Uk it is surprisingly hard to find a bit of nice seafood by the sea, how strange is this ? I was in Dunure and stumbled along this nice fisherman style house and small hotel / bar that has a real chef that can cook excellent food. I had some paupiettes of plaice with proper mornay sauce...
