As we got off the plane and waited in the COVID-19 line for an hour and a half we were ready to get to the resort. We were privately driven to the resort and from the moment we stepped out the experience started with a fresh picked refreshing coconut! From the service to the amenities, this resort for a Honeymoon is hands down amazing. The Serenity portion of the resort was newer and very clean. The food at the Greathouse was incredible and the chef will even cook you anything you want even if its not on the menu. With our Honeymoon package we got plenty of excursions included like a private island and mud bath tour and a sunset catamaran trip. Overall, this resort was well worth it, and will definitely be going back for Anniversaries!
We stayed at Serenity again this year March 2020 and brought 2 friends along with us that is how much of an impact this small piece of paradise had on us, we never usually return to the same place. It was great to see many of the same teams continuing to work there and provide true hospitality service one based on generosity, a warm and friendly welcome every time, special care and willingness to help. We loved being able to choose freshly cooked a la carte food every day and the humour of the waiting staff from Tessa, Titi, Chard through to Marista and Ginel, all guided by the expertise of Cathy and Natoya made it even better.. One thing for anyone wanting to truly relax and not have to do a thing spend a day in your own private beach Cabana with everything you need all arranged by your butler, we were lucky as Angus was our butler again this year and we love him. They even have hammocks in the sea now. If you love a Spa treatment or 3 then do not hesitate to arrange a relaxing facial or couples massage, Toyah and Alphia even come to your suite to do this. I would highly recommend Abigail though if you love reflexology. I even managed to collect and create my own towel zoo (sorry Vaniah and Karla in housekeeping for hoarding your towels), amazing how creative some can be! You know a place is well run when you see senior managers integrating with staff and guests alike, leading by example and engaging with people, not tucked away in an office. We will certainly come back once all this craziness around the world has settled down. Esther & Oliver…
From the moment we arrived, we realized this resort was different! Check in was very expedited and laid back. There was no rushing us to make dinner reservations or book excursions - that was left to us for when we were ready. We were officially on "Island Time" and told that we should relax and enjoy; the Serenity team was there to support anything we wanted/needed and they delivered and then some! Serenity was amazing across the board! This is truly an all-inclusive resort with no hidden fees or surprises. So much to share that I am going to break it down by topics: Serenity Food: - We ate like kings/queens with the gourmet food prepared by the chef, which included room service. Our first night, we dined on the beach and ate lobster and steak. The lobster was the best we had ever had and we are from New England! the food was tremendous and prepared as ordered. We easily gained 5lbs each during our stay :) Serenity Suite: - Our room was a Premium Plunge Pool Suite and was very generous in size and stocked with all of the beverages we requested. It was incredibly comfortable and we slept well. The room didn't have the damp smell we had come across on our other trips and there was fantastic AC split units in our room. I believe the only difference in the suites is square footage and we could have gone with the smaller room. The housekeeping staff was fantastic from cleaning to turn-down service and the personal notes were a lovely touch! Serenity Service: - One word: OUTSTANDING! We did not pass a single employee on the entire Coconut Bay resort that did not acknowledge us and most asked if how we were doing, if we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything. The Serenity staff knew us quickly and greeted us warmly always. Albert, Delon, Jonathan, Lee, Corneil were common bright faces on the resort and made us feel at home. Serenity Amenities: - The plunge pool, hammocks, and bar in your room leave you wanting little but add a beautiful view of the island, a great beach, Personal Beach cabana's reserved with your butler, a great restaraunt, lush grounds, The Greathouse, bar and pool. We had full access to Coconut Bay Resort which had multiple pools, restaurants with fantastic food, a lazy river, petting zoo, and a lovely spa and so much more! Nothing like a couples massage 10 feet from the ocean! We went Deep Sea Fishing with Mystic Man and caught a 200lb Blue Marlin. Catch of a lifetime and it was an amazing trip with beautiful island views. St Lucia Island and Culture: - The island was lush and tropical. The Pitons are beautiful and the island is very hilly/mountainous. It remains more pure than other places we have been in the Carribean and not so commercialized. It was refreshing! Tourists are welcomed and appreciated and St. Lucians are warm, relaxed and kind hearted. COVID: - Do your homework before visiting. St Lucia currently requires a decent amount of paperwork in advance of your travel, including: A negative Covid PCR test (no rapids allowed) within 7 days of arrival, Travel Registration Form, Health Questionaire and Travel Autorization form. Locals are required to wear masks in public at all times and this is heavily regulated. Visitors are also required to wear masks when not at the pool, sitting down to eat or at the beach. Social distancing is required. We had our temperature taken at every meal and activity. Thank you so much Serenity and staff for an amazing stay! Best Trip EVER! We plan to come back next year with our friends and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for an amazing and luxurious trip! MANY THANKS to our favorites: McCarthy, Nerissa, Quade and Lez! for making our stay so special and making us feel at home. We cannot wait to see you again!…
Serenity at Coconut Bay was an AMAZING experience for all of us!!! My wedding was originally booked to happen at the main coconut bay resort but because of covid-19, The wedding had to be postponed then cancelled. My wedding planner SARAI CAIRO was so helpful and supportive. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was possible. The adult's only resort was perfection! It was so much better than anything we could have hoped to have had. the staff were so friendly and helpful, We would like to give a special thank you to a few people... ARSHAN- OUR BUTLER He provided an experience we had never received in any other resort. he tended to any needs or requests that we had. LEE - BARTENDER He went out of his way to make us custom cocktails and made sure they kept coming!! one of the nights, he put up with us playing our own music at the bar till 2am, he was great company and an amazing MIXOLOGIST. Overall.... We had an unforgettable experience. We met amazing people. Ate Amazing food. and had an incredible wedding!!! 1000% RECOMMEND!…
Wow, what an amazing place! Arrival - Super convenient private cab from the airport to the hotel. There was no "check in" process, we were just greeted with fresh coconuts and given a tour of the resort! When we got the room there was a bottle of champagne for us to pop and some snacks Room- We had the most basic room, and it was still huge and absolutely gorgeous. Outdoor space with plunge pool, hammock, and bar area with table and ceiling fan. Full fridge with juices, waters, sodas, and full bottle of liquor. Inside was big too, with a big tub and shower. Every day our room was made up and had turn down service, with beautiful towel animals. Chewem and Shirley kept our room beautiful Butlers- You get a mobile phone that links you 24hrs a day to your butler, who can do anything from order you room service, to getting you a ride to the beach. Arshan, Ray, and Lance were 3 of our butlers, and they all went above and beyond to help us out Food and drinks - The food was really great! Chef Leo even went out of his way to make me a special meal, and we would frequently ask for a different meal than on menu (bacon mac and cheese!) which always came out delicious. We also really enjoyed the beach side dinner, which had an amazing musician performing. Drinks at the serenity bar were also amazing, particularly the banana daiquiris. You can get served right at the pool cabanas which is awesome. Big shoutout to the bartenders and servers as well. Particularly Hannah, Delon, Lez, Lee, McCarthy, Maureen (at coconut bay), Kimberly, and Tyler. Lee actually will get a double shout out because he really helped make our trip superb. He mans the bar with the smile, has some party tricks, and even bought us some redbull to mix with our rum! He's a treasure! Also Marvius at Jerk Tree House was exceptionally nice, and remembered our names for days after! It was always a real treat getting our room service for breakfast every morning and eating it on our private patio. Pool and Beach - We absolutely loved both the pool and beach. The pool set up with the bar and service is amazing, you don't have to lift a finger. Amazing cabanas and so many lounge chairs. It was absolutely lovely and hard to leave. When we did leave to go to the beach, we loved that too! The beach cabanas were absolutely gorgeous, but even beside the cabanas there was a ton of seating and palapas. The water was warm and was generally a really nice color blue! Some days there was a decent amount of seaweed, but not too much to bother either way. Only thing I wish is that there was a serenity bar and food at the beach as well, the only place we could access that is at the pool, so sometimes it would cut our beach day short to grab lunch. Jonathon, Akim, and Ian all set us up with fresh coconuts, and were so friendly! They literally climbed up the tree to show us how they get the coconuts, and educated us about the different types of coconuts. Absolutely exceptional Grand Romance Package- This was awesome and totally worth it! It came with our trip when we stayed for a week. The couples massage was so relaxing, and the island tour was one of the best parts of the trip. Puffy was our guide and showed us the island (which is BEAUTIFUL) and taught us a lot. He also took some amazing photos of us. We loved the mudbaths and the waterfalls. Overall, we would recommend this place to everyone, and we already miss it so much. We hope to come back! Thank you all! ~ From Hannah and Anthony from room 855…
