The setting is spectacular with bush surrounding the most wonderful villa. Everything you could want is provided for and David is a very helpful host. We had three glorious nights earlier in the week, and we decided there was nowhere better to be so we came back. That should tell you everything. Tranquil, restful, scenic and the hot tub was...

Room 345 is a lovely 2 bedroom villa set in a tranquil bush setting. The unit was immaculate, full kitchen, sleeps 5. Pleasant private outdoor garden setting with hot tub. I have already highly recommended this to my family and friends for a lovely weekend retreat.

We found this villa to be a wonderful place to stay, with a great view of the creek and visiting birds as well as a beautiful yard to sit or have dinner. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen which we used for dinners and breakfasts. The bath was large and spotless. We did not rent a car, relying on...

Nestling into the bush, with a creek below the attractive gardens, the villa is only a mile from Coromandel town centre, with its excellent restaurants and ships. Just round the corner is Driving Creek narrow-gauge railway, which is a must visit, that makes you feel like a kid again. When we arrived we were delighted to find an airy, clean...

This is an example of the website under selling the property. It way exceeded our expectations. These are three beautiful and completely private villas located a little away from the town centre down a quiet, private road. They are set in manicured gardens leading down to a gorgeous creek with a view over the trees to the Coromandel hills. We...

The facilities are excellent. David is very accommodating. Not critical but having air conditioning only in the lower rooms could be an issue for those upstairs during the day. The cottage design and components are excellent. It is off the main highway so it is completely quite and peaceful. And yet it is a short drive to Coromandel Town to...

What an idyllic spot. We returned after 2 years and think it's even better the second time. The beauty of the location, the absolute privacy, the comfort and amenities, the artistic touches.. all combine to make this the loveliest stay we have had in New Zealand. The view from the patio over coffee as the sun comes up is gorgeous,...

Driving Creek Villas is a short way from Coromandel town (30 min walk or a quicker cycle ride on the bikes that are available). It's wonderfully quiet and secluded. There are three villas all with high end BBQs, TV, DVD player, washing machines, dishwashers etc. Free wifi available with reasonable connection speed. Very comfortable deck seating and nice sofas indoors...
