We are frequent travellers, always looking for new and unique experiences. After booking a trip to the Maldives last minute our experiences at the Constance Halaveli was the best holiday we have ever had!
We were looking for a luxurious, beautiful, romantic couples location to relax and enjoy activities and excursions and that is exactly what we got. The resort is beautiful and amenities are of high quality whether on the water or on the island.
We booked the all inclusive package and it was exceptional. Including all you could want in terms of food and drink as well as credit for spa treatments and some free excursions, it was well worth it in our opinion. What really made our trip exceptional however, was the staff. Everyone from the pool cleaner to the restaurant manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay outstanding. We only stayed for 5 days but we felt like we were leaving some friends behind.
We have to give a special mention to Jaya the pool cleaner who showed us the sharks on our way to breakfast every morning, told us the best places to snorkel and even reduced the chlorine levels in the pool in our water villa when he saw I was pregnant.
Siraj from the dive centre was incredible, such a positive and up beat character, you could tell he had a real passion for the ocean. I was keen keen to do many of the excursions even though I was pregnant and he, without request, always made sure I was safe and well looked after.
Adamino greeted us from the sea plane and tended to our every need and even had a special gift delivered to our room for us.
We looked forward to seeing Rasheed the restaurant manager for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. He really paid attention to the details and made us feel special.
JP from the management team also deserves a special mention for making us feel extra special, he was very open and honest and we had some great conversations about travel and the resort.
Lastly, receptionists Mina and Sachika were so lovely, coming to find us to see how our day went and going out of their way to help us with bookings and advice.
We were so sad to leave Constance Halaveli and we are already thinking about when we can go back.
A huge thanks to everyone who made our stay so special, even the many who we didn’t mention! We hope to see you again soon.

We spent two wonderful weeks at Constance Halaveli. Middle in the pandemic times we felt here absolutely safe and well taken care of. There were only a few guests in the resort and the whole atmosphere was very warm and almost family-like. The service staff took care of us touchingly and lovingly, all our wishes were read from our lips and fulfilled immediately. At this point I would like to say a big thank you to Jane, who was in charge to the guest relation. Very discret and with lots of charme, she managed all our concerns while our entire stay. We enjoyed the little morning conversation with her very much, she always had some very personal words for each guest on the island (we already miss your lovely smile dear Jane ) )) But also the guys who have cleaned our room twice a day and decorated it artfully. And of course the highly professional and well-rehearsed diving crew, with whom we have experienced unforgettable moments under water... The waiters and someliers in the restaurant, who always knew exactly what kind of wine we drank the night before and how many ice cubes we'd like to have in our drinks... )) the Girls from the SPA with their strong skillfull hands, and, and, and.... In summery it was a fantastic unforgettable stay and we'll definately be back to Constance Halaveli very soon ))

Costance is a magical place surrounded by staff always available and of great level. it's the second time I come back and it probably won't be the last. The staff of the sommeliers and the exceptional wine list, kids club very well managed we never saw our 8 year old daughter who felt at home and we never worried about her. The villa over watter equipped with every comfort and our cleaning guy always available and discreet (only note: the wooden staircase that leads into the water have to be replaced because being wooden with the contact with the water it becomes slippery and consequently dangerous.) My special thanks goes to Darko , gym manager who was helpful and always available also for things not within his competence and to the tennis teacher Claudio who has definitely improved my forehand.

Our last week in Constance Halaveli was absolutely amazing.Our villa was so nice and big close to little private beach, where is no one apart from you. You don't need any shoes because there is pure and shiny sand around whole island. We really had a good time and for sure we gonna come back soon. We've met also very very lovely guys, they work there so hard and they do the best they can. Our best one is Bandara, he does the most special drinks and everything you just ask for. He became our friend, cause he really knows what he does, he cares about you whole week. And we really appreciate it. Bandara thank you for all you have done for us and hopefuly see you sooon.

Don’t even think about it and BOOK THIS PLACE and I promise, you will not regret it. The Maldives has many islands and for sure it’s hard to choose one but do believe me you cannot go wrong with Constance Halaveli. My sister and I have booked this resort last minute, and we could not be happier. From the time we arrived to the time we left we had such a memorable experience.
The resort is spectacular and has lived up to all our expectations and beyond. We stayed in the Water Villa, which was immaculate, and the views from it breathtaking, all around. Housekeeping comes twice a day to ensure you have all the required refreshments, plenty of water in the room, and just keep it comfortable and so clean.
What makes the experience extra special are the employees from all areas of the resort. We had the opportunity to meet the General Manager, Mr Tangi Le Grand who has been so welcoming and it was a pleasure meeting him. Honestly, hats down to him and his team. Words can’t describe enough how professional and friendly they all were. So attentive to details and always there to assist and provide the best customer experience. Chefs are expectational, their cooking style and food presentation are just incredible. Everything so fresh and so tasty, with a wide variety of choice each day in all three restaurants.
The resort also offers various activities for guests to enjoy during their stay. During our stay, we have done sunset snorkeling, a sunset cruise around the island, yoga, and meditation. There is also turtle adventure or sunset fishing. But the diving center has so much more to offer, and the team is so experienced and will take great care of you, practice with you and ensure your safety and wellbeing is the number one priority.
There was not one thing that was wrong or not perfect during our stay. Honestly, that place is a paradise on earth, and we will definitely return, very soon. Thank you for making our trip so memorable and wish you all the best and all the success!! See you soon :D

Halaveli is a beautiful island located a short 20 minute seaplane ride from Malé. The resort is luxurious and the holiday was magical from the warm welcome all the way until departure, with everything in between. Constance has its own lounge at the seaplane terminal which is very comfortable and equipped with internet as well as some light refreshments. The check in and check out were made easy and both went very smoothly. The staff on the island was waiting for us at the jetty and waving at us while arriving! Jane took care of me and was really welcoming & smiley.
Once on the island, the villas are fully equipped with everything we wished for and each one has its own private pool. Internet is available pretty much everywhere on the island and is very fluid. We stayed in a water villa, which was extremely comfortable, and enjoyed the walk to the island every day keeping an eye out for colorful fish, sharks and rays.
The restaurants and bars offer extensive choices with savors from around the world and the service was impeccable: very professional, friendly, discrete, attentive and devoted. We tried every restaurant and the food was always excellent! The cocktails made by Bandara were always very tasty and the wine list has such a wide variety! The team catered to all our requests and it seemed as they enjoyed adapting to our requirements and requests. A truly personalized service indeed.
Snorkeling around the island was convenient and great. The marine life has a lot to show: from anemones to harmless sharks. Plenty of beautiful colors! The team at the dive center is very helpful and we got to borrow some snorkeling equipment which we kept until the day before the departure.
The communication was flawless and everyone was working in harmony: from the reservation which was made extremely easy, to the helpful team at the front desk, the restaurant and bars teams, the person who takes care of the villa, the pool cleaner, the gardeners and beach cleaners, even the electrician. Everyone always greeted us with a smile.
What sets Constance Halaveli apart is the quality of its team. There is a magical harmony within the staff and we can feel it is genuine. The attention to details is omnipresent throughout all the resort’s employees. Everybody wishes to please and we could feel a strong sentiment of passion for hospitality. The staff made my stay magical and memorable, specially Jean-Pierre from Mauritius, F&B manager. I can tell that he always goes the extra mile to satisfy and even surprise his guests, paying extra attention to details. He is such a shiny & smiley person who wants to make sure everyone is happy on the island. Such a genuine & interesting person to have a chat with during your stay ! He definitely looks passionate about his job and that reflects on the whole dining experience. A big THANKS to him and the staff.
I have visited other resorts in the Maldives before, and I will definitely be going back! We have found our happiness in Constance Halaveli.

My husband and I spent five days at Constance Halaveli first week of May. As other reviewers note, it is an amazing place. Having stayed at a resort closer to Male, with a view of their industrial sector, we appreciated the more natural surroundings. The view here is beautiful shades of blue water and small island resorts in the distance from where ever you are on the island. (It only take a few minutes to walk the perimeter.) We found there were more fish with a wider variety of types when we snorkeled and you can see many from the walkways above the water.
Upon arrrival, Mina greeted us and showed us all the facilities. She then facilitated our dinner reservations for our stay. Our over water bungalow was spacious and well appointed. They do require vacationers to stay in their rooms until they receive a negative Covid 19 test which is administered prior to getting on the sea plane. This was true even if we showed proof of vaccination. However, we were able to order room service and hang out on our back deck while we waited. Not a bad place to be quarantined, at all!! Especially while we enjoyed our complimentary bottle of champagne and the choices of meal was very good. We appreciate their attentiveness to keep everyone healthy!
While we were there, we dined at both Jing and Meeru in addition to the regular breakfast, lunches, and dinners at Jahaz. The food was delicious. Even the room service food was prepared in a beautiful way! At Jahaz, where the buffet meals are, there is something for everyone's taste. The chefs rotate some new items into the staples to vary your dining experiences. Since we were on the all- inclusive package, we enjoyed a nice variety of wines. Since the wine list is so extensive, we relied on the sommeliers' recommendations which were all great! We even scheduled the wine tasting in the water one evening with Manish who is the head sommelier. He is very entertaining to talk with, and has an incredible knowledge about the wines he serves! It was my husband's birthday during our stay and the resort went above and beyond. Not only did Mattu, our housekeeper, do a beautiful decoration on the bed with birthday greetings, but he delivered a delicious chocolate cake for us to have after dining out. My husband was wished a happy birthday by the majority of staff we interacted with all day. All the staff, whether they work in landscaping / maintenance all the way up to managers are friendly and greet you when you pass by or when you dine in their restaurant. It was such a pleasure to be there, in a lovely environment, with such an incredible staff! Highest of praise and thanks to all at Halaveli for an amazing vacation.

My wife and I visited the Constance Halaveli in early October for our 25th wedding anniversary as a surprise for my wife. We have been fortunate to visit many places around the world during our marriage, but our stay at the Constance Halaveli is a top 5 on our list of adventures.
We were happy and enjoyed the trip from the moment we stepped on Constance Halaveli property. The water villa accommodation was beautiful and allowed us to enjoy the location even during short bursts of rain experienced on the island. The all-inclusive package allowed us to enjoy two complimentary excursions, and even though we could only do the sunset cruise during weather it was beautiful to get out on the water. All of the food was delicious during our stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed getting to try all of the different cuisine options on site.
The best part of our stay was truly the staff on property. They made our stay spectacular, truly. They were attentive to all of our needs and beyond, including decorating our table for our anniversary dinner and getting us some specially made chef meals during our stay. The biggest shoutout to Mevin (our personal concierge), Max (the restaurant manager who made our every meal special and unique), Jayadeva (a staff member who went above and beyond to ensure we had memories on our trip all over the property), and Nappe (who still owes us that sunrise photo). Truly though absolutely every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel special and to make our stay unique to us.
My wife was VERY HAPPY with her surprise. It truly was the trip of a lifetime for our 25th wedding anniversary. We could not recommend the Constance Halaveli enough and hope we can return with our family in the future! Cheers!

We cannot rate our time spent at Constance Halaveli highly enough. It was our first first trip to the Maldives and it surpassed our expectations in every way. From the moment we got on to the island via seaplane we felt totally spoilt. A warm welcome from Silvia before being shown around the island - we knew instantly that we had chosen the right resort. The small details included - little luxuries left in our room, iced fruit served to on your sun longer, the most beautiful sushi and fruit platter for our anniversary- all went towards making this feel far more than a holiday. The restaurants were each unique and the food quality excellent. Jing provided superb quality food beautifully presented. The lamb dish was superb! Meeru provided a more relaxed beach feel with an exceptional menu and meat perfectly cooked. The Jahaz buffet had such variety whether it was breakfast, lunch or evening meal we were constantly amazed at the choice and quality. Again, the little extras really making the difference between your average hotel buffet. The sommeliers couldn’t do enough to provide the perfect accompaniment to your meal. All inclusive really did mean all inclusive! The drinks/ cocktail menu was vast and the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate individual tastes. The gym is well equipped and staff very friendly. We enjoyed massages in the spa and use of the facilities…sauna, steam and hot tub. Again the staff made us feel very special and couldn’t do enough to help. Throughout our stay the staff were a real highlight…attentive, keen to provide the best possible experience and a pleasure to chat to. We felt regularly as if we were the only guests on the island! Despite the resort being full there was always sunlougers available by the pool and on the beach, all positioned in a way to give you privacy and beautiful views. Our room was cleaned to a high standard with a very well stocked mini bar, the bathroom felt very luxurious and the bed was very comfortable. Our outside terrace felt incredibly private and being able to snorkelling straight from our water villa was wonderful. There was a host of sealift right on our doorstep. Excursions by boat, snorkelling, diving were all available and many offered within our all inclusive package. If you are looking for a holiday that gives you a real chance to experience exceptional quality service and accommodation in the most beautiful setting then Constance Halaveli is a must! We can’t wait to return!

My expectations from visiting the resorts belonging to the hotel chains are usually low, but I was unexpectedly and very pleasantly surprised by the visit to Constance Halaveli and I can only recommend it to everyone.
Villa (single storey beach villa): although the resort was opened in 2009, the villas still look very cozy and clean. The main room consists of a bedroom combined with a living room. Furthermore, in the villa you will find a smaller room serving as a dressing room and a separate toilet. Bathroom: the bathroom is outdoor, facing the back of the garden, within which there is a separate shower and bath under a covered gazebo. There are also 2 outdoor sun loungers. Terrace: from the bedroom you have direct access to a smaller terrace, which is partly covered, which allows a pleasant outdoor seating even in the heat. There is a table and several armchairs on the terrace. If you choose a villa with a pool towards the beach as we had, then the terrace is connected directly to the pool. Some villas have a swimming pool located at the back of the garden facing out from the bathroom. Pool: the pool is smaller (approx. 5x2.5m), but fully adequate. The pool also has a wooden terrace with two sun loungers and a parasol. Garden: the garden belonging to the villa is beautifully landscaped and the greenery creates excellent privacy. From the front of the garden is a private entrance to the fine sandy beach. Sea: although the sea is relatively shallow along the beach, you can swim in it beautifully. In addition, the beach is protected by a breakwater along its entire length, so even if the wind blows, you are not bothered by the waves. Meals: all three restaurants on the island are very surprised by the excellent food. Usually I don't like buffets, because the quality is not the same as ala carte, but in this case I can't complain about the food we had at the buffet dinner. Also, the cocktails we ordered at the bar were excellent and were among the best we had in the Maldives. Conclusion: Although my girlfriend and I visited more than twenty different 5 star resorts in the Maldives, Constance Halaveli is one of the best in my view and we plan to return there very soon.

Hi we just came back from the hotel. When you arrive you get your personal assistant and they book restaurants for you but there might be full for the first days. Same with the spa if you want to visit few times - we did because it’s amazing! There’s also yoga with Ashok!
I recommend both restaurants Meeru and Jing Both are fantastic! Food at Jing is absolutely exceptional.
There are more places to choose from in the Halaveli Island area.
