I stayed there with my wife and 3 kids for 10 nights with. Very close to the Sakai train station which made it easier to get around. It is also within walking distance of many restaurants and traditional eating places. The breakfast is traditional Japanese with little western food on offer but it was suitable.

I stayed there for 3 nights and no complaint. It's only 300 meters from south exit Sakai station. During my stay most of guests are Japanese. Old hotel but clean and very fast check in and check out procedures. This hotel also provide breakfast. Direct train access to Namba and Airport.

It is easy to get to from the station if you go over the bridge and the back way to the hotel! Don't go through the front entrance as you'll end up walking 10-15 mins round the block, Great staff who keep the rooms clean and very welcoming. Would recommend this to someone who is looking for value for money... More

We were in Japan on business and our usual Hotels booked out due to Chinese Tourist shopping trips. The staff were friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was good and very convenient before heading to office in morning. However the hotel is in serious need of an upgrade and redecoration but that aside our room was clean. Handy to... More

Utterly appalling. Stained carpets, water-damaged wallpaper glued back in place. Non-smoking room yet nicotine-stained walls. Smell of mold. Bathroom sink coating worn and stained by years of use. Extremely lumpy bed: I can just about sleep on anything that's flat but the bed here defeats me. Past midnight and they've offered me a change of rooms for tonight but have... More

Great little hotel close to the trains. It's a 5 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. Sakai is a major station so all trains except the Rapi-t airport train stop there. This is nice because you can take a limited express and be to Namba in about 10 minutes. Very affordable as well. Nice clean room. IMPORTANT... More

Arrived late at night. Short walk from nearby train station. Room was very small. Bathroom was very very small. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were shocking and the decor was extremely dated. Staff were helpful and their English was ok. Included breakfast was interesting...

My family needed to be in Sakai City for a martial arts tournament. Although this property is part of the Comfort Inns operating in the States, this is not your ordinary 2 star hotel we're used to. Great complementary breakfast with local and american items. Ground coffee machine and available in the afternoons. Toto toilet and shower tub. Clear picture... More

My husband and I have stayed in the Comfort Hotel in Sakai several times when using Kansai Airport. Although there are fancier hotels closer to the airport, we like this hotel for various reasons: First the price is very reasonable - last time we stayed there we paid 6,400 yen for a double room, and we had an even cheaper...
