I stayed here in February, the snow in the area was really heavy. The ice filled river was truly a sight to behold specially coming from a country that does not have snow. The rooms were spacious and the food was great.
The onsen bath area was very big and shower area was huge. Its a big hotel.
The rooms are ok we slept well in the tatami.
