When you go to reception and pay 650 Baht (approx £14) for a night (including breakfast), you shouldn't expect anything sumptuous or special. Yes, the rooms are tired and, the bed is hard and unforgiving but, for the price paid- it is fine. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and the staff were pleasant. Pay small money - don't expect luxury! For...

I didn't sleep with the aircon very noisy and slim windows (we hear all the traffic city and planes with the airport in front). Hotel very old and not really clean. For the price it's so bad, the breakfast room is boring. We are happy to leave this place.

This is the worst Hotel that I have stayed in Ubon. I am glad that I only booked for one night. The room was dated and not clean. The bottled water smelt. The reception staff were rude, they took my money and did not give me a receipt when they demanded cash. The breakfast was terrible. Do not stay at...

Stayed here as the Sunnee Grand was full for three nights. Rooms are largish clean all decorated in various shades of grey, the walls, furniture and tiles. Even the fridge and TV are not immune. There are no pictures on the walls making the rooms appear rather soulless. Air conditioning is old but effective. The bathrooms appear to have been...

At least old rooms were shown to us and they even still wanted 800thb for that! Not worth the money in my opinion, so we did stay in another hotel. No looking on Agoda I see photos of beautiful looking rooms .... where are they?

Travelled to Ubon from bbk, via first class sleeper (warrants a review in itself). The regent on the outside looks great, but give a really false impression. At 600 baht a night what do you expect though. Reception area straight out of five star, the room though wasn't t, but I am not complaining. Really big, superb air conditioning, quiet,...

Tv channels are mostly thai. We stay at the hotel every year now. The breakfast is fantastic lots of thai choice that...
