Blue Spirit could not have been a more lovely, easy, wonderful place to host my first international yoga retreat. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff took great care of us and helped support our retreat. The food was incredible! The pool and easy access to the beach and ocean were wonderful especially since we were there at the end of April...

I did a week in January 2016 and it was a truly transformative experience. It's exquisite and very special. Incredible programming, atmosphere, location, food and service. One of the finest places on Earth. However, be aware it is a dusty, bumpy 45-minute van ride from the airport. If you have severe neck and back issues, be mindful. If you don't...

I had a fantastic time at Blue Spirit in March 2016 when I attended the Light of Love retreat with Deva Premal, Miten and Manose. I stayed in one of the Eco Cottages which was great, clean, surrounded by lush vegetation, howler monkeys peeping through the windows. The setting was amazing. The resort was first rate, the people lovely, the...

The location is beautiful The food is amazing and the whole resort is very clean. However, if you have a problem ( medical or otherwise) there is NO HELP!!! You would think that the owner would want happy clients but the place is so busy they do not care what you think. so why give a comment card. Their website...

I was at Blue Spirit for the "Light of Love" retreat with Deva Premal, Miten, and Manose. Everything about the retreat was amazing - from the moment we arrived until we left we were completely taken care of.

After having read many of the reviews regarding the Blue Spirit Resort, I had to shake my head several times ! There was only really one other reviewer (Lisa B.) who seemed to understand this hotel's deficiencies. Please don't get me wrong, Nosara, Costa Rica is truly a beautiful location with the gorgeous untouched beaches of the Pacific. However, my...

Beautiful resort in the middle of no where. Walking distance to ocean with warmer water than the pool. Monkeys overhead, lizards on paths around you. Vegetarian meals were amazing!!! Very eco friendly resort with choices of bungalows, platform tents, eco friendly cabins and rooms at the hotel. The pool was beautiful. Little town within shuttle ride which you can pick...

For what this place charges it really could use some more amenities. Food is good. don't even think about a room without a/c, as the smaller single rooms on lower floors look and feel like hot prison cells. The pool area is grungy with old dirty worn out furniture, and even those are few and far between. There isn't one...

This is a little slice of heaven! Just beautiful. Staff is warm and accommodating. My room..a nature suite...was quiet and secluded. No TV phone or clock...just lots of monkeys, skunks, armadillos and geckos for company. This is however quite different from staying at a Four Seasons...you get one towel and one set of sheets for the week; they will change...

I stayed here for two weeks while on a yoga retreat. It was a little pricey for me, so I opted for the eco-lodge hut. They look really cute but are not that comfortable or convenient to get to each day. You have to walk down a big hill to get there. It's not that bad but is tiring if...
