So many things make this a standout place to surf in Guiones. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach; the school has beautiful rooms / facilities and an incredibly warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to Collin, his family and the staff; the surf instruction is excellent and includes daily video feedback; the home-cooked food is superb...

This was my second trip to Corky's in Nosara (went once before in July 2015).... I originally had not planned to come back so soon, but after having such an AMAZING experience in July, I could not wait to get back! It was hard to believe, but my most recent trip was even better than my first experience (which I...

This is a very good place to surf. The beach is beautiful and there is not a lot of people. The teachers are very nice and the boards are good ones. The waves are big and we can see dolphins when we surf.

Only about the surf school Great experience to surf here !!!!! Instructors are good, waves are perfect. They propose good boards for beginners or advanced surfers, and give you a wetsuit if you need it.

Going to Corky Carroll’s Surf School in Costa Rica was a great experience. The owner Collin and all the instructors have a true love of surfing and this carries over to the instruction you get while you are there. The school naturally creates a family vibe and by midweek it was like old friends hanging out surfing and relaxing afterwards....

Two of my friends and I just spent an awesome week at Corky Carroll's in Nosara Costa, Rica (April, 2015). The trip was fantastic in every way. The three of us are in our late 20's and before the trip had never been to Costa Rica or spent much time surfing. As soon as we arrived, we were picked up...

I completed a week at the Corky Carroll Surf School (CCSS) in Nosara, Costa Rica in mid-April with 2 friends of mine from college (we're all 29yo guys). In short, the experience was first-class from start to finish and was exactly what we were looking for in a surf trip. Nosara is sufficiently off the beaten path in Costa Rica...

I'll keep this brief because these other 5 star reviews have pretty much said it all. I went by myself, as a beginner surfer, last November (it's taken me way too long to write this) and it was an amazing experience. Collin and his instructors know what they're doing. I made SIGNIFICANT progress that week, had a blast, and walked...

I just finished my family trip of five (wife and three kids 18, 16, and 14) at the Corkey Carrol surf school in Costa Rica. Wow... what a great life changing experience! We flew into the San Jose airport and rented a car to drive to the surf school. We wanted the kids to see the Costa Rica country...roads, towns,...
