I tried and wanted to book this place through Trip Advisor but it would not go through. As it was in conjunction with Agoda I did so there instead based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. The other reviewers must have been in another building because our experience was rather different. The place seems to be run by Piero,...

I try not to stay at or near the airport in Rome as it is a) ridiculously expensive at the actual airport and b) Fiumicino is not an attractive city. However, on the advice of a friend and to have a relaxed departure, I decided to book one night at L'Isola. The emails from Piero were clear, concise and prompt...

Piero is a very nice man and he picked us up at the airport at 11pm for a very good and reasonable price. The house is clean and comfortable, the room has AC, cable TV and there is very good wifi. The breakfast is basic but good. Piero gave us good information on how to get to Rome and he...

We stayed one night there before our early morning flight from Fiumicino. Everything was great. The room was quite nice, clean and tidy. Piero, the owner, was very nice and helpful, and punctual too which is important. The beach is really close but we did not have the time for it. Highly recommended for stays near the airport.

This place is great (and even better if you have a car). It is 200 metres from the beach, has free on street parking, is only 10 minutes drive from the airport and from Ostia Train Station, which is part of the Rome public transport network. The B&B itself is two houses a few metres apart with free wifi, en-suite...

Very convenient place for a short stay near the airport. As our flight arrived late at night and we should take the train to Firenze, we decided to rest in Fiumicino for one night and then leave. Good free internet, nice italian breakfast. Piero is very helpful and a nice person. There's a nice pizza/kebab place near the hotel.

Where to start... Isola is a Comfortable, beautiful place very close to the sea, like 100 m away from the beach. Located just 5-10 min from the Rome Airport. But those are not the best things to say about Isola... Piero, the owner is a very kind, friendly person. He picks you up at the airport in his own personal...
