Wed had our wedding here in summer 2016. I can honestly say it was our best decision we made. 100 guests traveled from Ireland for our big day and everyone was blown away by the Borgo. Having the church on site and the possibility for everyone to stay was a big decider when looking for our wedding venue. Nothing was...

I will struggle to find the words to express my love for Borgo di Tragliata. There is a magical feeling in this place that is impossible to explain and must be experienced first hand. My husband and I got married here in September 2016. We had 120 guests stay with us for 3 nights and we had the time of...

Well where to begin, we got married in October of 2016 and it was quite simply the best 6 days of our lives. From the food to the service to the decor, everything was just phenomenal. For such a secluded location, you really feel at home. Each and every one of our 75 guests loved every minute. A special thanks...

I visited here for a cousins wedding! Great venue. Gardens are beautiful. Pools are a nice touch. Multiple areas are set up for dinner. We ate at different places each time! Highly recommend! Offers the dream wedding! Almost guaranteed perfect weather!

What a fantastic place to have a wedding! We had beautiful sunshine in a romantic setting making everyone feel totally relaxed. The view from the Borgo was enchanting, the setting for the civil ceremony was intimate even though outdoors. Guests were sheltered from the bright sun under large umbrellas during the ceremony and best of all there was a gentle...

What a place, about 30km from Rome away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent atmosphere, not a big choice food wise but local cuisine and plentiful. Attending a wedding so great choice of venue and spectacular scenery. Beach is only 25 minutes away and day trips away to Rome are available. Rooms are all you would want, light and airy...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the entrance to Rome, "Il Borgo di Tragliata" overlooks above an impressive tufa buttress.Archeological sources provide evidence that this area has been inhabited since ancient times. The discovery of the famous, "Oinochoe of Tagliatella" vase confirms the existence of human settlements since the Etruscan era within an area subject to control by either the Ceri or Veio tribes. The name "Tragliata" takes note of the place names, Talianum Tagliata or Terlata, during medieval times and appears to be derived from "Tagliata, (meaning, "cut"), which is the word given to the paths dug into the tufa by the Etruscans. The Restaurant is known for its fine quality cuisine, light and fragrant traditional Roman dishes, homemade pasta and for the special attention given to the food's preparation. We use only organic produce from our garden including a variety of farm and wild vegetables, natural honey and fine meats. ... more   less
