We were looking for someplace along the water between Naples and Roma. Our cousin in Italy had been to Sperlonga and talked about how beautiful it is. The hotel was spotless, rooms & grounds lovely and the staff extremely cordial and helpful. Our balcony room had nice chairs to sit, read and look out at the ocean. While it was...

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of October and were immediately offered a room upgrade to one with a sea view without having to ask because the hotel was very quiet. The hotel was stylish and very clean and and our room was great (not small) and we really enjoyed our five days in Sperlonga, although due to...

We recently returned from a wonderful stay at Hotel Grotta di Tiberio, the hotel is very modern & clean and is minutes from the beach. We went with our 2 year old daughter and all of the staff couldn't do enough to help us with anything we needed including providing cots / high chair / childrens portions of meals. Also...

This was our third stay & this hotel & we were not disappointed. We stayed for a week & found our stay to be very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and professional. As it was early September we visited we found it quiet which was good as I would imagine it is a lot more hectic in July &...

If You would like to enjoy an Italian hospitality experience, but with a professionality that, unfortunately, is not common in most Italian hotels, then try this hotel! Excellent breakfast. Vast choice of salty or sweet food. Much much more than a simple "cappuccino and brioche". And do not ask me about the restaurant! Excellent food, well presented and served. Good...

We have stayed at this wonderful hotel for the last four years during the summer. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Our two young children (now 8 and 10 years) always look forward to our visit every year. They particularly enjoy the pool. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Excellent food...

I spent a few days at Hotel Grotta di Tiberio with my children, and was very disappointed by the experience. Even though the hotel is in a pretty location, near the lovely town of Sperlonga, the management and owners of the hotel seem to have a real problem with children and young families in general. The hotel is definitely geared...

Dear Cblixen, The answer given to your sister or sister in law Mrs. Jamie K. - In the previous review applies to you as it examines the same problems and given that you were part of the same group of three adults and five children.

As a family of 4 we stayed here for 9 nights at the end of July. We had a spacious executive room which was spotless. Not much over an hour by train from Rome then a short taxi ride. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is spotless with views of the sea a 5 minute walk away....
