Staff is kind and helpful, rooms are clean, animation a pain ...but it's a village so, be it, location is very good, however: - the pool closes from 13.00 to 15.30, officially for lack of supervision....well hire somebody!!! It's unbelievable that a pool remains closed in August in a resort. I thought is was a joke. But it wasn't; -... More

The apartment complex is a 10 minute walk from main street where all the restaurants are and the very nice beach. It is a bit run down. Very, very basic apartment and basic kitchen. Nice vegetation. Nice environment. Pool small. Bar/restaurant available. Straightforward staff. Most of them are friendly. There is an animation team around the pool for the kids... More

The place is nice, conviniently situated 5/10 mins walk away from center and main beach in S Vito Lo Capo. As it offers small flats rather than hotel service, main clients were families and groups, which can be quite loud. Also breakfast wasn't that great, you are better off going to get a nice cappuccino and Genovese in the center.... More

We won a one week stay here in a drawing. It was great. The location is good if you are looking to relax and truly vacation. Not so go if you are being a tourist in Sicily. It is too distant from most historical attractions. The town of San Vito Lo Capo is a great place. A number of really... More

What I like the best is how easy it is from the hotel to the citi centre. An easy walk and you can visit the centre, port and the bus stop. It is a hotel that is used by people within Europe. You won't find many American travelers. This is fine for me but you should know this. The reception... More

Perfect location, wonderful staff, catering for young and old. Going out of season made it especially tranquil. Water was till cold, but that didnt stop the kids. The view from our garden was breath taking. Apartment clean and comfortable.....we will return.

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2013 and were lucky to be blessed with fantastic weather of 26 - 28 degrees during our entire 10-day trip. Sicily has been a reguar destination of ours for the last 10+ years (lots of extended family here), we have travelled to most parts of the island so we have a good... More

Great hotel located close enough to walk to the Cous Cous festival, yet far enough to not hear the late night noise. Located approx. 2 short blocks to one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily! And close to incredible restaurants. We had two rooms, one with small kitchenette, that we enjoyed making breakfast and lunch. Weak Wi-fi, hope it... More

Good choice if you are traveling with children and are looking for an apartment for self-catering (as wee did). There is also a bar/restaurant on the site but they do not seem to offer a large variety of food (we never saw anyone eating there and the caffe was among the worst during our entire trip...). Beach, village of San... More

After trailing the website and reading various reviews i decided to go for this property because it offered a sea view apartment with enough space for 2 adults and 2 children. I am so pleased that we booked, it was just perfect. Our apartment overlooked the port and beach of San Vito, it was so peaceful that all we could... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located on a green hillside just a few meters from the beach and the marina, between trees and flowering shrubs, the Villaggio Cala Mancina overlooks at the beautiful bay of San Vito Lo Capo with its expanse of white sand, offering a panorama of incomparable beauty. The village, with its typical Mediterranean-style architecture, offers the ultimate in comfort with hospitality and services comparable to a four star hotel. The elegance of the finishes and fittings, the refinement of the furnishings, the careful arrangement of green, the intelligent distribution of the common areas, the use of local handcrafts such as wrought iron, terra-cotta tiles, marble, natural stone and brick pavers, give the entire complex a unique personality. Outside, Mediterranean gardens, where you can stroll along the paths of light and vibrant colors. Behind the apartments, almost suspended over the sea, there is a large pinewood belonging to the village, from where you can admire the small town with its white houses and the wonderful bay. ... more   less
