I stayed three nights with my wife at the King's House in an ensuite double room. Cost was £100 per night including breakfast. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the West Highland Way and is surrounded by magnificent scenery. Deer regularly approach the hotel and feed. All the staff were friendly and helpful particularly Carmen, Jessie and all...

My family and I were so warmly welcomed by Jessie, nothing was too much trouble. The views were stunning from the cosy lounge and we fed deer by the carpark! The barmeals were wholesome and good portions, we had a wonderful relaxing night. This isn't a fancy hotel by any means but the location is amazing. A big thank you to all the...

Visited one day on the restaurant during a hiking trip. Had paninis and cappuccinos over there. The restaurant is very cosy, relaxed and nice. Wonderful wooden chairs around one of the tables. :) Deers on a yard are lovely. :)

I stayed here with my 2 sons on a recent West Highland Way walk. We were very tired upon arrival after a 30 k day from Tyndrum so the hotel was a very welcome sight. The room (triple with no facilities) was basic but clean and pleasant. Long time since I have stayed in a room with no bath -...

Arrived here early afternoon again - very busy because of limited accommodation in the area. However, it was bigger than expected and there looks to be further building taking place. Pleasant welcome and given directions to our room. Shared facilities, but they were between our rooms with a door to separate it from the outside corridor. Single rooms were pleasant...

This hotel isn't as great as it (probably) once was. However we thought it was charming with it's old interior, tamed deers and the stunning view. The rooms were clean (except the bathroom...) and there is a big breakfast menu. This hotel could be haunted ;-)

Stayed here due to to doing WHW. It's the only place to stay if you've not brought your own tent. Basically it's tired and old....on the night we stayed it was really windy and all night we heard the roof slates rattling and the old guttering squeaking in the wind (mainly due to half of it missing) The room we...

Stayed for a night whilst walking the West Highland Way. Reception booked us in efficiently. Room was much larger than average and had fantastic views across the glen. The room was dated, especially the ensuite bathroom, but it was clean and everything worked. The hotel had two bars and a large, pleasant lounge. The free WiFi did not reach the...

Spent 1 night on the way further north . Booked last minute so only single rooms available , this worked out well as rooms next to each other with a bathroom in between . Absolutely stunning views down the glen from the bedroom . Both rooms very clean and comfortable . Nice dining area but quite busy in the evening...
