Best hotel in irbid .very clean rooms and friendly staff and very good location as well good place for wedding a conference .free. Wifi all double glaze windows quiet and very fair price .free breakfast is included
I stayed in this hotel for two separate days and if this is the best hotel in Irbid I cannot begin to imagine what the worst would be like. The staff may be friendly and helpful and the breakfast ok but there was no way that I was going to risk a shower in the bathroom and it must be the first time that I have stayed in a hotel since the 1960s where I have been cold in my room. Nowadays this just does not happen. Fortunately I will never be back in Irbid again.
We stayed here for 8 days with a group of 12. We all had big rooms, beds were clean and comfortable and breakfast was OK. Bathrooms were clean but a bit old.
Irbid is the third city in Jordan, but very underrated. It offers unique climate, which has been lost in other parts of this country, for example in the capital, Amman. I expected this very special atmosphere also in Afamia Hotel. Unfortunately, my expectations disappeared soon after arriving to this hotel. First of all, the special - or maybe better "specific" - atmosphere is easy to observe, but only if we regard air freshness. Nasty odour of mustiness and decay attacked my nostrils as soon as entered the hotel. I can specify only one positive - a perfect location.
Pas facile à trouver mais lorsque nous y sommes, nous ne sommes pas déçus. Personnel très gentil et qui cherche le contact. Pouvons aller au centre ville à pieds. La ballade est agréable.
I'm now at Afamia for my second stay. The first was in 2005 and the hotel was new at the time. Come 2010 we were looking for a hotel to stay for 3 nights in Irbid. We thought we'd try Joude this time since it's better located (everything within walking distance). What can I say? It was terrible! Dirty looking worn out patterned sheets, musty smelling room, dirty bathroom. Back to Afamia and I was expecting the hotel to be a bit worn out after 5 years, and it is, but what a difference from Joude! Afamia has clean white sheets, a very comfortable bed, clean ceramic tile floor... it's not perfect but it's the best in Irbid! You could find a room here from 30 Jordanian dinars. Wi-fi available for free but very slow.
Hôtel très bien tenu, un peu en retrait de la ville. Des chambres très propres, grandes, agréables. Vue arrière donnant sur des vergers. A proximité de nombreux restaurants. Très certainement une des meilleures adresses de la ville.
