Dear Tim, Thank you so much for your kind review. We know our guests have busy lives, and come to Pine Cay to truly disconnect, so we appreciate the "shout out" for how secluded our island is AND for taking time (once back home) to give us some positive feedback. Looking forward to seeing you return.

Selfishly, we would like to keep this all to ourselves, but that would not be fair. Meridian Club on Pine Cay is an extraordinary experience -- if you enjoy an incredibly beautiful and un-crowded beach; accommodations that we describe as "rustic luxury;" wonderful, creative meals; the meal-time company of interesting fellow guests; un-plugged relaxation; friendly, caring service from a gracious...

In my email notification from Trip Advisor, the only part of the title I could see was "Reluctant to talk about ...". That made me smile because I could sense what you might say about The Meridian Club on Pine Cay. Thank you Tim M for your kind and thoughtful review. We appreciate our guests and enjoy it immensely when...

In the past I have written glowing reviews about this little gem of a resort. However, as is so often the case, things change. This year most notably was: 1) new management: 2) a new head chef in 2015. I really hate to say that these changes have not been to the positive . Indeed, this is disturbing given their...

Not sure where to start this review. Should I first talk about the wonderful chef and the amazing food she creates special for you everyday? Sara used to be a pastry chef and now she is the head chef. So, you not only get the tempting breakfast and dessert pastries but great lunch and dinner selections as well. The beaches,...

The Meridian Club is a really special place. It is situated on a totally unspoiled island easily reachable by boat transfer from Providenciales. Apart from the hotel - which is small and low key, there are a number of vacation residences, the majority of which were unoccupied when we visited. There are no cars or shops or people trying to...

The Meridian Club is a hotel with few rooms , all on the beach. You can just exit your room and walk to swim in the wonderful turquoise waters. You can do nothing , or go fishing or snorkeling , or read. If you wish to mingle with other guests it is always very friendly, if you raher stay on...

This was a spectacular property. There are golf carts available to explore the cay and no cars!!! This created a 'get away from it all' atmosphere. Views from the room and central area are amazing. Staff balance giving you space and privacy with making sure your stay is pleasant. Rooms are very beach cottage-like. With the blinds open in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Turks & Caicos islands of the Caribbean, with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach (just 90 minutes by air from Miami). The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life. 12 beachfront/premium rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora. Winner of several awards from TripAdvisor, Andrew Harper, Caribbean Journal and Fodors honored. ... more   less
