We stayed here for one night in an unpowered camper van site, and very much enjoyed our stay. There was definitely a backpackers vibe to the common areas (go figure), with a group watching movies together in the common living area, and the bathrooms can get a bit crowded. We were told to basically park anywhere we liked overnight, but...

My husband and I stayed here for one night in March. The woman at the reception was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Our room was ready and clean, and they provided towels for our cave tour for the next day. The outdoor pool was nice and clean, but unfortunately too cold for a swim the night we arrived. Our room was...

I stayed in a tent for 2 days at this hostel, it is a bit pricey for what you get. No free tea or coffee which is a rarity in New Zealand (pretty much every hostel has this). The guy at reception was interesting. Really friendly but at the same time a bit passive aggressive. Max the dog was really...

Super friendly staff, who will guide you to the best experience near waitomo! Just ask for the best hikes or what sort of glow worm booking they would recommend. Clean and nice place, and even a nice heated pool :D Very cosy common room, and plenty of videos if you have spare time.

Small and friendly, with very friendly staff. I booked a private room for 1 night which had a bunk bed (double on bottom single on top). Mattresses were nice and sheets and pillows supplied which was also good. The have a pool and a good kitchen, and are conveniently close to everything you need. Would definitely recommend

Because we were traveling with a retired guide dog, we had to shop around a bit. Waitomo Top 10 Campground referred us to Juno Hall and I'm so glad they did. Super well managed from the brilliant phone call to Dave to the great hospitality and humour of Stephanie..... camped under trees. One post with 4 hook ups for powered...

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The hostel is set in the mountains with a free swimming pool and a selection of farm animals to feed. The staff (Dave) and his dog Max were super friendly and helpful and always around if you had a problem. The rooms and bathrooms are standard hostel rooms -...

I had an awesome one night stay here. Hostel is kept clean and tidy and has sociable chill out areas. Right opposite black water rafting centre. There are lots of farm animals around the grounds including six gorgeous tiny piglets (I'm wishfully hoping not for eating) which were highly entertaining to watch. Receptionist Stephanie is a breath of fresh air...

We stayed here one night in our campervan, all facilities including the pool was great. The girl in the reception was both informative and enthusiastic. 38$ is good value for money compared to other holidayparks in the area

Juno Hall is in a beautiful spot just outside of Waitomo, 15-20 mins easy walk from the village. The views are stunning as are the (freezing cold) pool and hammocks. The entire hostel was dated but clean with a well appointed kitchen and reasonable showers. An unusually comfortable and supportive mattress in the dorm room I stayed in. Possibly one...
