After 3 weeks on the road we found this place comfortable but a little tired. Garden looked OK but outside could do with some tidying up. A little expensive compared to what we have been paying, but fine.

Room was comfortable, in a good location and had everything we needed. Garden area out the back by the pool was nice to sit in the sun. The host was very friendly, escorting us to the room. Overall could do with updating especially the bathroom but it didn't

A very warm and inviting motel, perfect location for fishing. And close to the mountains. The rooms are super cosy and equipped. Lovely outdoor space. Feels just like at home. Lynn the host was very welcoming, would definitely stay again!

I stayed there for 2 nights on a ski trip. I soaked my dishes in the sink at night and went to ski on the next day . When we came back, the dishes was done. It is out of my expectation. Equipped with heater, electric blanket, fridge, utensil, hair dryer, oven etc. Not cold even with the heater off....

Great accommodation, well equipped and excellent value for money. There's a small pool, laundry and a very helpful team who run this place. Self catering is easy with a good supermarket just down the road and it is handy for walking and hot springs. We paid only a tiny bit more than we did for a pretty grotty hostel near...

The gardens and pool area of this motel are lovely, and the hosts have ensured that outdoor furniture is available for guests to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are a little dated (think wood paneling and 70's bathrooms), however everyone is clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was wonderful in our unit. The price was lower than many motels...

Very comfortable accomodation with huge double bed. Kitchen was good with all necessary equipment provided and working. Pool was covered but opened immediately when we asked to use it. Well worth a visit.

We stayed five days at Angler's Paradise while we did area walks and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Angler's Paradise was a convenient location, and our hosts helpfully provided us with information about local restaurants and areas of interest. Our room was spacious, clean, and had most of what we needed for cooking (the pots were very small and the knives...

Nice little place, and good value for NZ$120. Lovely little pool and sun beds, rooms a bit dated, and no aircon, but very relaxing, and very friendly owners who make you very welcome. Very quiet town with little to do, but nice walks alongside river

I like how this place had a big bed and a full kitchen but the place is very very dated. The rates were reasonable but I don't recommend staying in summer unless you bring a fan as the place had no ventilation.
