The hotel is superbly situated for the skiing - virtually no distance to lifts or ski-school. The rooms were excellent; it was wonderful to have a proper bath, with ample hot water, after a day on the slopes. Food, all provided as a buffet, was excellent - there were even things that two very fussy grandchildren were prepared to eat....

Just returned from a skiing trip at the Planibel. This hotel is good value for money as it didn't cost us a fortune. It is ideally placed for the slopes and the hotel is clean. The food is good enough and we could always find something to eat. This was our third visit as we feel comfortable here and we...

Stayed here in January 2017. It is quite a big Hotel 100m from the Telecabin Lift and 2 chair lifts. We could ski to within 100m of the door to the Hotel. The food was very good every day. A large range of buffet items for Breakfast and Dinner. The waiting staff were lovely and very helpful. Wine with the...

I was feeling I made a mistake reading some of the reviews following booking this Hotel. The amount of moaning about the Hotel was making me feel that I made a mistake. We booked it because of its location and we have not been disappointed at all. The staff could not be more helpful, the room has been freshly decorated...

We travelled here in early January taking advantage of fresh snow. The hotel could not be in a better position. It is right at the foot of the slopes and a short walk to the gondola. However the hotel is tired and there should be investment in order to make it a truly great hotel. I guess the management feel...

The hotel is superbly placed within about 100m of a chairlift up into the ski area. The food (buffet) is plentiful and there is a good variety. The hotel wifi system does not have capacity for the number of guests they take, and in the rooms it's terrible. The room was clean, but showing its age, particularly in the bathroom.

The hotel is a little old but it is nice because it is right next to the slopes. We were here for a conference and we were at the hotel restaurant for all of our meals. It would be nice if there is also white wine for meals or other drink alternatives. The TV in my room did not work....

Great hotel, great location, excellent food . We loved it . The slopes still had plenty of good snow, even late in the season, hotel is right next to the gondola . Relaxed atmosphere. It is not the newest hotel in the resort, but clean and many rooms have baths as well. Loads of hot water for a long soak...

On arrival at la thuile we were absolutely shattered and looking forward to a quick rest before sorting out ski gear/passes etc. However, the room was not ready until 2 hours later which was unfortunate. The room itself was a studio apartment which was simply furnished with old fashioned and out of date decor. It was clean and functional and...
