We stayed here as it was close to town but not worth the money. I can overlook the dated decor but cleanliness is top of my list. Sister stayed awhile ago and said it was very clean that's why we opted to stay here but the bathroom this time made us cringe. The kitchenette plumping made a terrible noise as...

Pleasant friendly front office staff. Room reasonable value for money, small compact room with tv and free wifi. Warm on a rainy night with parking outside door. Great for a one night stop. Close to restaurants and not too noisy with road noise.

This motel is situated right in town. Although dated it was clean and provided all that we required. Wifi is a bit patchy. Do not use number 14 until the fridge is fixed. Horrible noise woke me more than 30 times in the night. Pillows were crap but that was just me. I would return but not stay in 14.

Stayed here for the Solway College Centenary. Had to pay extra for a third person (fair enough) but after the first night we all decided not to stay the second night as the room was vile. The floor was dirty, it looked like the sofa/bed hadn't been moved or vacuumed under in months. The room was dusty, & the sheets...

I have to say this is the only motel in my life time that I have had to pay for the accommodation booked the moment I arrived at Reception, and I've stayed in many. I thought this a bit odd, but did as asked. We were to discover there is a reason for this. We had been looking forward to...

Very nice hotel, lovely staff, nothing was to much trouble. Great location, close to supermarkets, bottle store, restaurants, shopping, petrol ststion etc. Large rooms have been updated but still needing attention. Unfortunately the walls are thin and plumbing is noisy.

We had to pay for two nights as we checked in at reception. The owner did not accompany us to our room. When we entered the room we found it to be Very dated and gloomy, there were cobwebs hanging in the bedroom. The matresses looked very old and thin. We returned to the reception and advised that we wanted...

Pro: clean, good bed, good location Con: really really loud strange "machine" sounding noise woke me up intermittently through the night, tv wouldn't tune, alarm clock went off at midnight as well. So overall not much sleep. I would recommend to ask not to stay in room 18 if you stay here, as it is very noisy.

What I really liked was the free laundry and the spacious room. The bathroom and kitchen were lovely and well equipped (fridge, microwave and sink). Close to shops and restaurants. Intercity bus stop about 200m and Renall St railway station about 1km.
