This hotel is lovely, a couple of silly little things that I would change, but otherwise just brilliant. Good stuff - Location is great, close to the town centre, and about 10/15 minute walk to the bubble lift. Super close to the nursery slops. Fantastic spa which is super clean and a great lay out. Reception is beautiful and the staff are lovely, they also speak fantastic English. Rooms are spacious, we only had the one bedroomed unit for four of us, this was just fine size wise. It also had a great big balcony with a table and chairs on it. Kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed for the week. Towels, soaps and kitchen cleaning kit are all supplied. Bits I’d change - The sofa bed is quite uncomfortable, even for the kids. I would like to have had bigger / more bed pillows. It can be quite noisy in the morning with people clonking around in ski boots. In general this hotel is fantastic, I will definitely be going back. The transfer from Geneva is only 55 minutes too, a massive pull for me as my wife gets travel sick 😞 Highly recommend this place for a family holiday.

We are checking out tomorrow and have been told the day before that they need to do an inventory when we leave. We would like to be there given the prices they list on items such as cutlery are crazy!! We also had to sign an inventory on check in with a strict deadline. Who wants to go through all the cutlery drawer deciding what they might have called a certain item within 48 hours of arriving. Surely if the staff do an inventory check out then no check in inventory is required?!? It’s such a pity as the hotel is well located and the rooms are nice and we enjoyed using the pool. As others have recommended it’s worth getting a locker at the base of lifts. It a about 10euro a day but it makes the trip to the slopes so much easier and relaxed. Again a great place let down by draconian rules.

The apartment was ok, not so convenient door systems of the bathroom and the toilet in our room. No Direct Access from the apartment to the SPA, need to go Via parking area. Although we enjoy the view of the room, and the children love the swimming pool, after a long day skiing. Great location near to shop and restaurant and resort.

Booked as part of a large party, we were all placed in one chalet block, great. These apartments are new and were comfortable. Views from large balcony were good. Staff efficient at check in, all apartments were ready early. Well situated for the village and just a 5 min walk to ski bus if skiing, I would recommend hiring a locker at the cabin to store skis and boots, you can then stroll back or take bus without stress of skis and boots. A great place to stay. One down side is in the 2 bed apartments there is an ensuite shower room but no extra toilet. Overall very high quality , well situated in the village.

We have just finished 1 week at Chalets de Leana in Les Carroz. The residences are completely new, with all the amenities. The location is superbe in the village center with shops, restaurants at the doorstep. Easy access to the ski slopes either via the navette which runs extremely frequently, or via the beginner pistes and the rolling carpet. There is a pool and spa in the facility, the kids pool is great. Very warm and with a slide. The spa facilities are also very nice. Only drawback is the pool room is not very warm so it's very chilly once getting out of the water. The reception of the residences were very helpful. We booked catering service for dinner to benefit from a pierrade at home. All sheets and towels were provided. We brought our pool towels with us, but the residence has them available to rent, along with bathrobes. Highly recommend bringing along slippers/flip flops to make the trip down to the pool, but also for inside the apartment as the floors are tile and can be chilly.

The quality of the apartments is good, and they succeeded in created a certain authentic atmosphere. Nice but small swimming pool with a beautiful view on the mountain. Well equiped apartments, we rented a 6 p apt for 4 persons, which was perfect, I would not recommend to stay with 6 in these apt. Beds were superb! Price in summer is reasonable, in winter it looks expensive, and location is far from ski lift in winter time ( 10 minutes walk in summertime without skis, luggage!). Village has some authentic atmosphere, a very nice wine bare (cave 59) but we regret that we didn't found good restaurants (all very greasy with savoyardion food)

My family and I spent a lovely week skiing in Les Carroz staying at Les Chalets de Leana. This is our second time staying at a Cgh property. The accommodation is of a high standard, very spacious with two bathrooms in the sleeps 6 chalet. Excellent for self catering (buy your supplies from the supermarket in Cluses as the local Casino supermarket is very expensive) with lots of kitchen gadgets - coffee machine, Senseo coffee maker, blender etc. The staff are all very friendly especially the lady on reception and David the handyman/caretaker. There is a wonderful spa with sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming - very relaxing after a hard days skiing. The only thing I would say is that the boot room wasn't very convenient in relation to our chalet but we had very easy access to the Spa which was great. The residence is situated opposite the town square with easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants and a very short distance to the telecabine (5 minutes in the car with large car park).

Not sure why this accommodation is so hard to find on when searching Les Carroz on Tripadvisor. It's definitely right in the centre of Les Carroz, rather than Araches-la-Frasse. This is a brand new apartment complex built chalet-style. It overlooks the ski slopes, which, although within walking distance, with ski boots on it's probably preferable to get the free ski bus from outside the Tourist Info, which is approx 5 mins walk away. Pros Apartments really modern, clean, well appointed. Equipped to the max with kitchen gadgets (probably uneccessary eg hand blender, electric pressure cooker, full cleaning kit of hoover, mop and bucket, and endless other things I don't go on holiday to use). Lovely indoor pool with two jacuzzis, two steam rooms and two saunas. Very central to Les Carroz, which is a lovely village/town. Within 5 minutes walk to central square (it's more triangular actually), supermarket very close by. Lots of restaurants serving Savoyarde food. Mostly French families on holiday, quiet, peaceful and very nice. Staff on reception very pleasant and helpful. Bakery order for breakfast croissants etc delivered every morning by 8am (to reception). Cons Boot/Ski storage room is in another building (Chalet G), downstairs, and through approx 4 doors. A bit of a maze, and when you are clumping around in ski boots, up/down stairs is a bit inconvenient. Would have been better if each chalet had their own boot room. On arrival, you are given an extensive inventory to check with all the items in the apartment. It took quite a long time to count every single plate, fork, spoon etc etc (I'm not joking, a double sided A4 sheet). If anything is broken or missing you will be charged at the end of your stay. I think €9 for a broken plate or glass is a bit extreme for "luxury" accommodation. Surely this is normal wear and tear? I have never come across this before, and find it a bit penny pinching TBH. You are supplied one toilet roll and one tiny bar of soap. You need to buy your own for the rest of your stay. The bedside table has one tiny little drawer that isn't big enough to store a weeks socks. There are no other drawers in the bedroom. The wardrobe is large with plenty of hanging space, and high shelving above, but not suitable for a short person (like me). Could do with more shelves/drawers even if these were inside the wardrobes. You are supplied with one bath/one hand towel per person to last a week. If you want clean ones, it's €10. Pool towels are €6. Kitchen looks lovely, but there is actually no preparation area. Not even enough space to slice up your baguette in the morning! Not sure how you would make an evening meal, but there are plenty of gizmos supplied if you want to give it a go! Summary We enjoyed our stay very much, the views from our balcony were spectacular. We saw the torchlight procession descend on the piste opposite one night, and also a fireworks display on another night. So lovely! The skiing in Grand Massif was excellent, although it was quite warm for February, so the afternoon skiing could be quite tricky (slushy/mogully), even on some of the blue runs. The Cascades run was an absolute highlight, beautiful views, and just an amazing experience.
