Positive points: accommodation well located in the station and well arranged for the surface Negative points: - Chalet Belles Pistes below the main building, to access the swimming pool a road without pavement must be crossed, not ideal with children and in winter... - cold swimming pool and hammam, all the children go to the jacuzzi (slightly warmer), only the sauna works properly. .. - No wifi signal in the apartment: reported 3 days in a row to reception and then in writing to receive a troubleshooting pocket wifi because "The technician can do nothing more" - The intercom to contact the reception does not work, forced to go back to the main building each time - Parking door does not close (but if anything happens to the car CGH is not responsible...) also reported several times before resolution... - You spend your time coming to the reception to "complain" which is unpleasant, because no follow-up of concerns, example: "no one else is complaining", or "you did not call me back so I considered that it was settled" friendly but probably inexperienced staff.... - Convertible sofa in the living room uncomfortable even if we do not expect exceptional bedding, we feel that the sofa has had its day.... - Day of departure: empty the bins, undo all the sheets, clean the kitchen, the fridge etc. the cleaning fee is therefore limited In summary, better services from competitors, especially for the swimming pool/spa, and above all better consideration and follow-up of any problems (because it can happen) for this price...

We were in the Chalet Belle Piste. A 50m walk to the covered travelator lift. And about the same distance up hill to the Reception/Gym and Pool. Overlooking the nursery slope. The apartment was spacious, modern and warm. Kitchen area was more than adequate. No English TV but, probably a bonus! Wi-Fi very hit and miss. Shower room And bathroom very nice. Bed extremely comfortable. And more than is usual on skiing trips, hanging space for clothes. Just a 5 min downhill walk to the village. With some great shops. A lovely Patisserie. Several ski shops, gift shops and 2 very well stocked supermarkets, as well as some nice bars 'Carpe diem being a nice little find offering (on some nights) live music. Also a decent selection of restaurants. Notably a Pizzeria a stone's throw away. There is live music in The square s well as a weekly morning market. The gym was fab as was the pool.

Stayed last year in the Pierre Vacance apartments. The Residence is a bit pricier but its light, modern, spacious, contemporary and very comfortable - all the things we didn't get last year! Great pool/hot tub area in the basement, very handy for shops, lifts (2 minute walk to the ski bus) and bars/restaurants at night - all within stumbling distance. If you are in a car you probably won't need to touch it whilst you are in the resort (underground car parking btw). Couldn't fault it really.

We stayed here during February half-term, and have to say, it's one of the best places we've stayed in a long while. Having travelled through the night to reach the resort, upon arrival we were greeted by a lady on reception who was very friendly and spoke good English. The added bonus was that our apartment was ready for us 4 hours early (which we weren't expecting!), which allowed us to get settled and unpacked during the afternoon, allowing us time to explore the village, which is a 5-10 minute walk away, where you'll find lots of shops, bars and restaurants. We used the spa facilities daily, which are well maintained and clean. The apartment was big enough for 7 adults, and was well furnished and modern. The kitchen was also well equipped. We also made use of the onsite bakery service. One of the best elements of the residence is its proximity to the lifts and piste - within 5 meters or so of the locker room door, you're on the magic carpet straight up to the main Kedeuze Telecabin, giving you access to the wider resort. Overall, great location, great service and fantastic living and leisure space.

We know this residences from few years ago. It is great for skiing because it is very close to the lifts, and in les carroz it is important . It is modern and clean. The spa is nice and the apartments kitchen is nice. But - the stuff speaks very poor english. the wifi is frustrating [ we had the same problem last year in CGH las arc ]. Not very good service - We needed one extra blanket cover but could not have one. The price is no longer low for january, and for the first time, there is a chance we wont come back next year.

Dear Yonatan p A big thank you for your return concerning your stay at the Carroz; The broadband wifi works correctly, the only drawback is that we have more and more devices that connect on the network and unfortunately we still have the same ADSL stream; CGH reflected on improving this service for the coming seasons.See you soon

We just stayed for one week at CGH. Luckily, we were in the main building, since I asked for the main building 6 months before we arrived. We received good service before we arrived; i.e. booking skipasses, booking ski rentals. The chalet is greatly located, very close to slopes, ski school, town centre, and bus stop. BUT on site service was very poor. Our heating system broke and I had to call receptionist 4 times for her to take an action. But she did not take any action and I had to walk down to convince her to call her manager to do something to fix the heating system before reception is closed so that we do not freeze at night. By the way, reception is open only a few hours during the day and there is only one person serving (!) the guests. Also, our check out was a disaster. CGH arranged us a shuttle but shuttle did not arrive and we were going to Geneva to catch our international flight. When I asked the same receptionist to check where the shuttle is, she said "it should be on the way". However, shuttle never arrived. I had to spend 55 minutes with the same receptionist for her to find us a solution. Finally they found us a new shuttle and we caught our flight but we had to go through a big stress. Moreover, during the 55 minutes, there was a long que behind us to check in but there was only one person again to serve (!)everyone. Also, the residence expects you take out the linens before you check out...It is like a army camp...In summary, if you are looking for a great location, it is great but do not expect any service.

These are lovely well located apartments which I'd be happy to recommend with one warning. They seem secure with coded entry on main doors. but be vigilant against theft. The management don't warn you but burglary is very common. Be sure to lock apartment door even if you pop out briefly and also when it is occupied overnight. We were not alone in the week we were there of being victims. At least 3 burglaries whilst people were asleep. Totally uncaring management- never even bothered to see us. A real pity.

Dear Missfussyberkshire I am sorry for this disagreement, unfortunately despite the implementation of many security protocols in the residence, this is not a fortress and we have actually suffered a few burglaries during your holiday week: we recall that it is Important to close the doors and the french doors (rdc) during your absences but also at night. Without falling into the paranoia, this situation is fortunately very exceptional.A very soon in one of our residences CGH and spas

Stayed here in January in a three bedroom apartment for 8 people. Our first stay here after numerous holidays in Les Carroz and nicest place we have stayed. Very conveniently located for an easy walk into the village for restaurants and shops and located at the bottom of the 'magic carpet' that takes you up to the telecabin at the bottom of the slopes. Well appointed apartment with all that you need for self-catering, very spacious and clean. One improvement could be more furniture in the bedrooms - one bedroom had no wardrobe and none of the bedrooms have chest of drawers/shelves so with the amount of stuff you have to take for skiing you end up using the floor as a wardrobe. The swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi and steam room are a nice extra to have after a day's skiing, and were kept very clean, but it's worth noting no towels are provided. Would have given 5 stars but we were unfortunately in the one chalet that is over the road and down a hill from the main buildings/reception. Having got dropped off at main reception it is then a slip slide down the hill in the snow with your luggage, not ideal. You also have to get dressed up to go back up the hill to use the pool facilities after a day's skiing - which you wouldn't need to do in the main building. If we stayed again we'd request one of the other chalets. All in all we had a really nice stay and would recommend.

Be warned if you have booked for this residence that you actually get to stay here and not in the Chalet Belles Pistes. I paid for a one-bed apartment in the main residence but was told when we arrived that they did not have such accommodation there [which makes me question how they accepted the booking in the first place] but we were being put in the Chalet Belles Pistes, which is where the one-bed apartment are. This is not 'over the road' as they may state, but down the hill, over the road and round the corner! This means that the promised ski-in, ski-out turns into a 5 minute up-hill trudge in the mornings and in order to access the spa you have a lovely walk in the cold.

Hi dear Sarah I am sorry that your stay did not take place as you would expect: The residence Les Chalets de Jouvence is composed of 8 chalets distributed around the relaxation area; Indeed the chalet Belles Pistes is a little out of the main chalet and requires to go out to access notree relaxation area and near from the slopes (50m). This one is very appreciated for its proximity with the sledge space and free beginner ski (just in front) as well as its clear view on the village.

I stayed at Les Chalets du Jouvence with my family and friends and we had a lovely 3 bedroom apartment with balcony looking over the draglift just by the residence. It did make for some entertaining times! The draglift meant we could ski from the boot room and take this little lift, then ski across to the gondola. Certainly made our ski lives easier! When we were not out on the slopes we enjoyed using the on-site swimming pool and facilities. The apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious even though it was under the eaves. It was a 5 minute walk to Les Carroz centre and there was some gorgeous restaurants there serving amazing food. We had plenty of choice. Likewise, on the pistes we also had plenty of choice and skied across the other resorts linked in the pass – Samoens, Morillon and Flaine. Unfortunately we didn’t get to do the long run into Sixt fer a Cheval but I heard it’s an amazing run! The ski hire shop was nearby to the residence so that was useful. I’d definitely recommend and will return myself!
